The Monstering Event
meteorites begun to fall apon mother earth, without warning from anyone's observatories, large meteorites begun to collide apon the earth, in both water and land, and out from the meteorites, monsters emerged, skyscraper tall, scaled, slimey, on fire, all kinds of monsters emerged and all in unison, the monsters released a large sonic wave, knocking out all live apon earth, and releasing some kind of radiation.

a long time later, humans begun to awake, the monsters that had fallen were now inhabiting other areas of the world. cities have lost all power, communications from other countries have ceased, but each country has found something strange. a number of their population has become monsters. this event, was known as the Monstering Event.


11 years after the Monstering Event, humans have adapted to living with the large monsters that inhabit areas, such as forests, deserts, swamps and mountains. limited power is given to humanity, food and water is scarce, because the monsters destroyed all human crops and means of food, and society has developed a hatred for Monstering Victims, those effected by the Radiation of the monsters 11 years ago, these people, that almost look human, are blamed for the Monstering Event, ridiculed and excluded by many.

researchers that study the Monstering Victims don't follow the basic human rights, because according to society, they're not humans anymore.
the Monstering has caused many monstering victims to die, or be outcasted into the wilds, where they may encounter smaller monsters, or one of the origi.

the Origi are what the first monsters that emerged from the meteorites are called.
the Origi attack any and all that enter their territory.

now, as for the Monstering Victims, so far the largest ones are about the size of cars, no larger, as for what kind of monsters there are, there doesn't seem to be a limit, there have been technological monsters, spiritual, magical, beastial, ect.
all Monstering Victims have some sort of Monster Form, and Human Form, though in the human form, telling them apart from actual humans is easy, since they retain some monster-looking features, such as scales, fur, tails, cyborg-parts, ect.

but so far, humans that are normal, have managed to create technology again, but no one tries to remake cities, since it attracts the Origi somehow.

These are essentially the regular rules, no Godmode, no sex in high detail, ect.

there are, however, some more rules: No Monsters with the monster abilities of Time or Space, and no Technology with Time or Space, Time and Space just seem to ruin alot of stuff.

Characters that are monsters will need to be 12 or older, since the Monstering was 11 years ago.

Monstering Victims in their Monster Forms are about the size of cars or smaller. no bigger, since we're technically already breaking the law of 'matter can't be made or destroyed'

There are small homes within the ruins of cities, at this time, we'll start of in March, 5th, 3022, that means the Monstering Event was 3011, as for the actual Month, it was June. the day is unknown.
