Bubbles, who was holding Octi and still sleeping, dropped the stuffed octopus in Buttercup's path, causing her to trip over and fall flat on her face, allowing Bubbles to go further from Buttercup. Buttercup got up and, ignoring Octi, ran after the pigtailed sister. She almost nearly stepped on a squeaky teddy bear, which was near the Professor's bedroom, and continued running after checking him still sleeping.
Bubbles sleepwalked down the stairs, and Buttercup was forced to tiptoe down to avoid tripping and falling. At the time she was completely down the stairs, she saw the sleeping Bubbles drinking a glass of ミルク from the fridge.
Buttercup: Well, I'd expect her to go back to ベッド after that.
But her prediction was wrong! Bubbles sleepwalked outside the house after her drink. Buttercup let out an annoyed sigh and resumed her task of pursuing Bubbles.
Bubbles then walked onto the dangerous road where she would be human roadkill, but her sleepwalking trance prevented her from realizing her fate. Buttercup was もっと見る than horrified when she saw a giant truck driving towards Bubbles, and in the speed of a flash, she flew to her pigtailed sister, caught her and flew to the other side before the dreaded vehicle could splat both of them. She settled Bubbles safely on the sidewalk.
Buttercup: [whispering] Phew! That was close. Now あなた better go back to sleep または the Professor isn't gonna be very happy, right Bubbles?
But since Buttercup had her eyes closed during her talking, Bubbles sleepwalked away. It only took a few 秒 for Buttercup to realize she was gone again when she scooped up nothing, where Bubbles was last standing on.
Buttercup: Bubbles? [sees Bubbles walking down the road towards an open manhole; finally shifts to loud voice] Bubbles! No!
Despite Buttercup's shouting, this did not wake up Bubbles, who was also not realizing the danger she is getting in. Buttercup was fast and lucky enough to cover up the manhole with it's lid before the cute, bubbly sister could fall in. She continued following the sleepwalker for 分 and minutes, until they were at Mojo Jojo's volcano.
Bubbles obliviously stepped inside her enemy's ホーム and touched a laser on Mojo's security system with lasers, cannons and explosions. Buttercup, with pure luck, snatched her sister and flew away before they are toast. Meanwhile, Mojo Jojo, who was sleeping, heard the noise from downstairs and woke up.
Mojo Jojo: Oooohhh!! I've got an intruder, as long as it is a Powerpuff Girl! And I, Mojo Jojo, will take that Powerpuff's dead body and turn her into an experiment, cause I am, Mojo Jojo!!! [laughs evily, then runs downstairs]
However, when he saw the result of his work, there was only soot covering and holes in walls made によって the cannonballs, no dead body at all.
Mojo Jojo: What!?!? NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Curse あなた Powerpuff Girls!!!!!!!!
Outside, Buttercup settled Bubbles safely down to scold her, but no sooner she has spoken the blonde sister has sleepwalked away again, forcing Buttercup to follow her.
Bubbles took an elevator shortcut outside Mojo's 火山 without even knowing since she is asleep, and since the 火山 was very high, Buttercup only resumed pursuing her sister によって the time she was at the bottom level, which she made faster によって flying down.
Bubbles sleepwalked down the road and almost hit a glass pane carried によって two men, thanks to Buttercup. Now walking on the sidewalk, the sleeping Bubbles wandered under a 安全, 安全です on a pulley which was accidentally dropped due to it's puller losing grip on the rope and the safe's heavy size. Buttercup managed to bash Bubbles out of the way, but is in turn hit によって the falling safe. She escaped によって punching out of the 安全, 安全です and witnessed Bubbles walk into the entrance of an extremely tall building.
Inside, Bubbles sleepwalked past the people, who were quite irritated and startled at her, before advancing to the 次 floor. Buttercup busted in and squeezed past the people.
Buttercup: [pushing the people out of her way] Excuse me! Coming through! Pardon me! Sorry!

Now on the roof floor, Bubbles walked out of the elevator she took to get here and was about to sleepwalk off the building where she will fall. Buttercup busted through the roof and was like "Holy shrimp!" upon seeing what was about to happen to her sister. In a hasty act of desperation, Buttercup ran as fast as she can to her sleepwalking sister and tried to catch her at the last 秒 before she could plummet from the building, but it's too late, Bubbles ロスト solid ground to sleepwalk on and fell into the 通り, ストリート below.
Buttercup: [watching Bubbles fall] Bubbles!
Buttercup felt so guilty that she cried in shame and failure. She had the feeling that the Professor is going to punish her for what happened to poor Bubbles. She had no choice but to witness her sister, still oblivious and sleeping, falling to her death.
But just as all hope was lost, Bubbles landed on a trampoline that two men were carrying and was bounced onto an extra thick mattress also carried によって two other men. Even from a high and far distance, Buttercup saw the entire lucky incident in a great combination of surprise, awe, and proudness. She then flew down to the mattress where Bubbles was resting on and cuddled her in her arms.
Buttercup: [whispering] There there, Bubbles. Soon you'll be back in ベッド like a happy 狐, フォックス sleeping in his hole.
She flew back to the Utonium residence, into the bedroom (where Blossom was sleeping completely unaware of Buttercup's misadventures in returning the sleeping Bubbles), gently tucked her sister in, and went back to sleep.
And so once again, the night is saved, thanks to Buttercup!
