For about 2 and a half years I did not have access to a computer and I was bone dry on any inspiration, I had good ideas on what I wanted to say, but I never could get it to sound right. But, when I open a word document up it spills out like water from a over turned pitcher, some of my best writing was from the computer. Maybe I'm just weird.

If a word or a phrase comes to mind, I write on a scrap of paper until I can actually work on my computer. All of my final products have been written on the computer. Just find it easier to edit and have the right word pop in my mind.

For me, it's because when I write on paper, I know I'll change direction multiple times and I don't like erasing and scratching out so much.

with a computer, I know i can change my mind all I wnat and all I need to to is backspace. My mind is clearer and I look more forward to getting started.

Yeah, that's how I am. It gets a little to unorganized when you have all this paper with scratched out verses and all that, you lose your place and you forget what verse goes where and stuff.

I just kinda find it more original to write in an actual book. I like to see the handwriting for some odd reason. Feels more old fashion.

It depends whether I'm stumped on words at the time or not.

I'm actually the other way around. I prefer to write in a notebook, scribbling things out and rewriting until I get it right. It feels more organic to me and allows me to better visualize how I want the poem to be. I also just like working with a pen or pencil.
I enjoy typing on the computer too but usually only when I'm doing a final draft.

I enjoy using both, however I do not like writing a book or story on paper... I guess I just like the freedom of poetry on paper and story telling on the computer.^^

I prefer writing in the "ancient" way to typing it on a computer.

I need a beautiful book with expensive paper, a silver ink pen and a quiet place....most likely at night....and inspiration will come flying to me
