Nope! The signs for Brucas breaking up we're there waaaaaay before the Chopia split! Besides BL still had a lot of emotional, lovey dovey type scenes even after the Chopia split!

^ Exactly. Did they break up sooner than expected, because of Chophia's split? Maybe. But either way, a break up was going to happen eventually. And that was pretty obvious throughout their whole story, IMO.

I mean I think the divorce had something to do with it... it seems impossible for it not to have any affect. But was a breakup always in the works and it just came sooner because of the divorce, or were they not going to break up but they did b/c of the divorce, or would they have broken up but the divorce prevented them from ever getting back together... I don't know. No one can know. But I don't think the permanency of Brucas's breakup was ENTIRELY because of Chad & Sophia's divorce... so I'll go with false.

if BL were this perfect, all sunshine and roses type of couple, then BOOM, all of a sudden split as soon as Chophia did... then I'd consider that this logic might be true. but that wasn't the case at all. BL were rocky all along, even when Chophia were happy together. whether some people want to admit it or not, chophia's relationship aside, signs of a BL split were there all along.

I think the kiss in the library was a sure sign that Lucas&Peyton were going to get back together, and that was way before Chophia split up. Mark even said he had decided Lucas&Peyton would get married when he wrote the pilot :\
I understand why people think that this is why Brucas broke up, but I doubt that's true. It would be very unprofessional to let a major storyline in the show be formed around the actors personal problems.
