I never thought I'd warm up to s7 with the loss of Chad and Hilarie and bringing in of the new characters but IMO it's a lot better than s6 just because it's far more interesting. I don't watch it regularly but OMG, I just have to see Dan and Rachel together or Brooke slapping Rachel or Brooke not having able to be pregnant. It's like completely watching a new show, yes, the crappy writing and everything but at least it keeps one watching.
