Deb is funny, but she was never there for Nathan. When he married Haley she was unsupportive, she wasn't there when he was growing up, and she became a junkie who almost killed someone. Deb has had way too many problems. Karen always supported Lucas in whatever he did, and was a great mom, even when it was hard for them. Karen is definetly the better mom.

I like Deb, she is funny, but Karen is there for her son, and sure there are probably times when you could have a lot of fun with a mom like Deb, but I have enough friends.
