i would have liked to because personally i would much rather have seen the show have the love triangle be between nathan/peyton/lucas...since i don't like brooke at all and i've never cared much for naley i would have much prefered this :)

I really think that nathan and peyton could have been a great couple. The problem between them in season 1 was that they were facing some problems and didn´t know how to deal with them. They used each other as a punching bag. After they broke up and started talking to each other about their feelings, that´s when they realized that despite all the fights they had, they were both lonely and sad and all they wanted was someone who cared about them. They had so much in common, but they never realized it. They had to be the popular couple, they had to act like it. That meant hiding their true feelings and pretending to be happy.
They finally break the cycle when Lucas and Haley come into the picture and let both Peyton and Nathan let their guards down because they don´t need to pretend with them.

Nah, it would have thrown everything outa wack. there was enough drama. Yes if Brooke wasn't involved in the triangle it would have been easier to have a NPL triangle, but what about haley? Would that make PH rivals then? I wouldn't want peyton to be juggling two brothers around for a long time. It would be so primal, lol. And it would cause a lot of friction between Paley and I love how Paley have a drama free relationship unlike breyton.

I like them as friends but I would have liked it better if they continued the Nathan/Peyton/Lucas triangle and not diverted to the one with Brooke....but yet again we would have the possibility of no Naley..or even Jeyton(even for a few episodes...)...so yeah more scenes but I do like how everything turned out...Naley/Leyton TRUE LOVE!!!

they couldve doen so much more with the leyton/neyton love triangle. and OMG i totally agree with 3liiiiin (i dunno if i have the amt of i's correct but evs haha). i was a huge neyton fan for the very end of the second season. nathan and peyton couldve been something great then.

Actually yes at the beginning of S3. Peyton was suffering for Jake & Nathan was suffering for Haley. They gotten really close to eachother and I really thought they would have another chance. Obviously I still wanted Leyton & Naley endgame
