in a way, yes. but she tried and he went off about how happy he is, and she didn't wanna ruin it for him..i don't agree with her actions, but i can understand them..i'm just happy she told him eventually.

Peyton was gonna tell him the very morning after she found out Julian was the infamous man optioning luke's book. but then luke went on ranting about how happy he was that his book was gonna receive merit, blah blah blah...so I think Peyton wanted to wait for luke to finish the screenplay so that he could write it with a clear head. I think Peyton wanted Luke to have this opportunity and didn't wanna ruin it for him. So as soon as he finished the screenplay, she told the truth just in time (before he called her on it). It's just too bad he found out beforehand.
As for Peyton telling Luke as soon as they reunited, it's only been 8 episodes and they've both been uber busy and not to mention in love and in the process of adjusting to life together. So I think that perhaps Peyton would have eventually told him, but she didn't think the situation would hit her in the face so soon...

No, not angry. But I think it was stupid. I understand that she didn't want to upset Lucas, and I agree with abs that she was happy to see him writing again, but its not like its something to be ashamed of. Lucas was dating Lindsey so Peyton had every right to date too. She should've just told him earlier. He would've understood, she's muddled things up now by keeping it so long.

I don't think peyton was scared that luke would get mad, she was scared that telling the truth so early on would cloud Luke's mind and ruin the writing/movie experience for him. I mean, the 610 trailer now shows luke saying he doesn't wanna work with Julian. If Peyton told Luke before he started writing the script, he probably wouldn't have written it. I think Peyton did the right thing. She still told the truth when the time was right...and luke will have his movie - leyton will get past it. It's a win-win!
