Is the character that will be in the 次 episode always (at least briefly) shown in the episode before?

Ex. This last episode, it showed Granny, lighting Mary Margerat's Candle, and the 次 one will feature their story, is that true for every episode?

Hm... I don't think so, atleast not everytime.

If I recall David wasn't in episode 2 but was largely featured in episode 3. And Archie wasn't in episode 4 but epsiode 5 was his centric episode. Same with Leroy. So not always but sometimes.
