Broken Things

Most things, when they are broken, are worth nothing. It’s a fact of life, sad but true.
    
You’ll occasionally run across a child who doesn’t want to give up his wagon because the wheel fell off または who refuses to get rid of her お気に入り stuffed animal just because it has a rip down its back and all the stuffing is falling out, but that wasn’t the case here.

One thing I’ve been looking at recently is Thirteen’s heritage. Even though we’ve never met, and know 次 to nothing about, either of her parents, we can tell a lot just from her name: Remy Hadley.
    
The name Hadley will tell us where her father’s family is from. Hadley means “heather field” in old English. It’s a British name, so her father’s family probably came from Great Britain.

as some of あなた might know I became really attached to the character of Remy "Thirteen" Hadley, the woman with the most tragic fate on House MD.
