Enterprise was the first orbiter ever built and was only used for approach and landing tests and could not actually orbit. After Enterprise, four fully operational orbiters were built: Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, and Atlantis. After Challenger was ロスト in 1986, Endeavour, was built. Built in 1991, that was the last shuttle to be constructed. The final orbiter flight was Atlantis's on July 21, 2011.

Enterprise is on display at Intrepid Sea, Air & 宇宙 Museum, Discovery is at the Udvar-Hazy Center, Atlantis is at Kennedy 宇宙 Center, and Endeavour is at the California Science Center.
