If you are wondering why there is more than seven people, it is because the swords are passed down.

Kushimaru without a doubt, his sword is by far my favourite but i like Kisame, Zabuza, Raiga, Ameyuri, Chojuro and Mangetsu too

Kushimaru would be my second choice but unfortunately we don't really know much about him yet other than the fact that he has a totally badass sword

I only know Zabuza, Kisame, Raiga and Chojuro. I have never seen the others in my life..How come there's nine ninja swordsmen when it says seven?? (Not including Raiga) I haven't seen Chokuro right, Raiga was a nut, Zabuza wasn't that great but I thought it was cute how he died next to Haku (that was probably one of my favourite scenes!) So I'll have to go with Kisame since his battles are more epic.

^ I explained why there was nine at the top -_-'. There are only seven swords, but they are passed down when the member dies. For all we know, Killer Bee may soon be considered a member since Kisame's sword is so fond of him.

Also, you probably haven't seen alot of the characters because they have only shown up in the recently released manga.
