Bought this film on a whim. Have to say that I'm glad I did.
The story centres around James Nesbitt's character Peter, who lives alone on a remote Scottish island running a lighthouse. Through flashbacks we see his 前 life as a family man with a successful career and how he came to be alone. Simply, it's a tale of 'you don't know what you've got until it's gone'.
Nesbitt lives alone, not speaking for most of the film. With a lesser actor this would have likely become tedious but Nesbitt carries the performance well.
However, it's the arrival of a young ship-wrecked girl named シャルロット, シャーロット that manages to bring Peter back to life. The young actress here manages to play happy, mischievous and adorable without becoming annoying.
Together Nesbitt and newcomer Lillian Woods are alone through much of the film but carry through to the end, making it an enjoyable watch without the story dragging.
All in all, an enjoyable watch, a good film to watch with the family, または if あなた just feel like watching a feel-good film.

So あなた went for a romantic movie. あなた watch the whole thing, except for the toilet break. And the ending is just the same like 3 映画 あなた seen before. WHY? It does have a reason. Romantic 映画 are for people that 愛 romance and live for happy endings. Happy ending is a thing that make the movie a good romantic movie, in a way. It's もっと見る a woman thing, than a man thing. Happy ending is a RULE of romantic 映画 and adds Romance to the movie. Just like an action movie needs loads of movement and action itself. カートゥーン MUST be animated. Comedy needs to be funny. 映画 are for entreating people. 映画 have a rating, but there is NO POINT going to an action movie, rated によって a Girly Girl. Also, if a Romantic movie is rated によって a man, it will not give a good effect.
