There is a good reason why I like the “Don’t rock the boat” scene with Michelle in the Season 8 episode Breaking Away. From my perspective, that line really 発言しました it all for me, and is really very inspiring too. Michelle was quite wise in telling Stephanie how good they had it: “nice house, good food, a buck a week.” :)

That line was proof of how much Michelle had grown from the four-year-old she had once been in the Season 4 episode Crimes and Michelle’s Demeanor — and not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally. She had grown to become quite good, and was starting to listen more, as well as follow the rules (which was mostly because of D.J.’s influence, starting from when Michelle was four and ending after she turned seven). There was still a touch of Jesse’s attitude in her, but only a little, and it would eventually disappear altogether.

Deep down, when Stephanie heard Michelle tell her not to rock the proverbial boat, she realized that Michelle was right, and that she had a point there in listing the advantages they had because of listening to Danny and following the rules he had set up over the years, too.

When Stephanie’s friend Gia Mahan left, Stephanie at first denied that her room was a mess, saying “This room is not that gross.” However, she then changed her mind after noticing a piece of ピザ that was stuck to a black T-shirt of hers and said, “Ugh... maybe it is” before trying to pull it off.
