“Merlin!” Arthur’s strangled cry was unusually scared, painful. “Arthur!” Yelled Merlin, his sapphire eyes hardening from a liquid to a solid icy blue. Merlin runs to the sound of Arthurs cries, through the trees, the thorns tearing at his pale skin, not caring about the cuts that bleed as he runs. He runs to the scene, Mordred at the foot of a high oak tree, the moonlight flaring off his evil blue eyes. Arthur is bleeding, his leg limp and mangled, his face grimacing in pain. Hello, Emerus. His voice in innocent, but yet the most evil sound in history. Arthur lifts his sword up, spearing it at the young druid before the boys, the moon going behind the clouds. “Baerne.” Merlin says quietly, lighting up the torch in his hand. The sword is floating in mid air, Mordred ginning evilly to himself. “You can never defeat me, Emerus. あなた have already failed your destiny.” He says. “Who are あなた talking to, boy?” Arthur yells. “You wouldn’t know, would you, Arthur? No, not the spoiled prince of Camelot. あなた haven’t told him yet, have you, Emerus?” He says, smiling sweetly. “Who is Emerus?” Arthur is on his feet, despite the pain. Mordred gives one, sharp laugh. “Ha!” His eyes flash, the sword lifting off the ground. “Come with me.” Merlin lifts Arthurs arm around his shoulder, running with him to the nearest cave. あなた can’t get away that easily, Emerus. Merlin heard his voice in his head, shaking it away. “Thanks.” Arthur’s voice is embarrassed, his blonde hair mussed up with twigs in it. Merlins dark brown fringe flops in his eyes. A booming voice comes from the mouth of the cave. “Emerus!” His voice echoes around the cave. Arthurs eyes are rolling, the poison in his wound making him delirious, his face clammy and sticky with perspiration. Merlin walks out into full view, Mordred and himself staring eye to eye. “Hello, Emerus. I did tell あなた it would not be forgotten. または forgiven...” He smiles an innocent smile. “I knew it would not be forgiven. I should never have saved you. It was in my destiny, as the Dragon said.”
