Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen play the mischief-making twins in Nickelodeon's Two Of A Kind. Funday caught up with the 星, つ星 sisters, when they visited the UK recently to film their new movie, Winning London.
Nickelodeon's Two Of A Kind is a 人気 表示する in this country, and its stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are fast becoming TV favourites. However, that's nothing compared with how famous the twins are in America!
During their 最近 trip to London, Mary-Kate and AShley relished the fact that they could hit the shops without being recognised everywhere they went. In America, it's a completely different story. もっと見る than 15,000 screaming ファン turned up to see them at a 最近 movie premiere, and their ドール outsell Christina, Britney and even Barbie!
The 14-year-old twins have appeared in American TV Shows for the last nine years, and they even have clothing, books, Game Boy Color and PlayStation games based on themselves!
Hi Mary-Kate and Ashley, are あなた anything like the characters あなた play in Two Of A Kind?
Ashley: We have similar personalities but they were exaggerated for the show. I'm not as girlie as the character I play and Mary-Kate isn't as sporty.
Mary-Kate: I don't mind playing sports. I just don't have that much time!
Do あなた have your own favourite Two Of A Kind episode?
Ashley and Mary-Kate: The ハロウィン episode!
Ashley: We had a lot of fun making it.
Mary-Kate: The director and the crew and the actors were all playing tricks on each other.
You've made one series of Two Of A Kind, will there be another?
Ashley:[u/] Not of Two Of A Kind, but there is a different series we might be doing together 次 year. We're waiting for the script!
Do あなた prefer making TV shows または movies?
[u]Mary-Kate: I like both. When you're on a TV show, あなた get into a routine and it's easier to plan things. But 映画 are fun too because あなた get to travel to places and do something new and exciting every day.
Where's the best place you've visited?
Ashley: I like London, and we loved Australia - we went there last summer. It was beautiful and the people were nice.
Mary-Kate: I really want to go to Africa - I'd like to go on a safari.
What were your first TV roles?
Mary-Kate: A 表示する called Full House. It ran for about eight-and-a-half years.
Ashley: We started on it when we were nine months old!
Do あなた miss much school when you're filming?
u]Mary-Kate:[/u] We bring a teacher with us when we travel and study for three hours a day.
Ashley: When we're not working, we just go to regular school.
And do the two of あなた get on with each other off-screen?
Ashley: Yes, we're very close. We're best friends.
