SEASON 1

"There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune.

take the current when it serves -- または lose the ventures before us" Pilot

"Do not let your 火災, 火 go out, spark によって irreplaceable spark
in the hopeless swaps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the
not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration

never understand anything for themselves, and it is
tiresome for children to be always explaining things to them" 1.11

"Some people believe that raven’s guide travelers to
their destinations. Others believe that the sight of a solitary
raven is considered good luck. While a group of ravens predicts
trouble ahead. And a raven right before battle promises victory" 1.22

some memory.. または some illusion"

Time takes it all, time bears it away.. and in the end.. there is only

I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch

It matters not how strait the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul" 3.06

How did it find us? Did it steal into our lives または did we seek it out and embrace it?
What happened to us? That we now send our children into the world like we send young
men into war, hoping for their 安全, 安全です return. But knowing that some will be ロスト along the way.
When did we lose our way? Consumed によって the shadows, swallowed whole によって the darkness.

SEASON 4

"My name is Lucas Scott; I am a senior at 木, ツリー 丘, ヒル High School. I play basketball, at least I used to. I have a girlfriend, at least I used to. And, I have a best friend. 木, ツリー 丘, ヒル is just a place somewhere in the world. Maybe it's a lot like your world. Maybe it's nothing like it. But, if あなた look closely あなた might see someone like you. Someone trying to find their way; someone trying to find their place; someone trying to find their self. Sometimes it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one in the world who's struggling, who’s frustrated, または unsatisfied at barely getting by. But, that feeling is a lie and if あなた just hold on; just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone または something will find the way and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes, someone to help us hear the 音楽 in the world. To remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there, and that someone will find you" 4.01

“There are moments in our lives we find ourselves at a crossroads - afraid, confused, without a road map. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days. Of course, when faced with the unknown most of us prefer to turn around and go back. But once in awhile, people push on to something better. Something found just beyond the pain of going it alone. And just beyond the bravery and courage it takes to let someone in. または to give someone a 秒 chance. Something beyond the quite persistance of a dream. Because it's only when you're tested that あなた truly discover who あなた are. And it's only when you're tested that あなた discover who あなた can be. The person あなた want to be does exist, somewhere on the other side of hardwork, belief, faith and the heartache and fear of what lies ahead” 4.02

"You ever look at a picture of yourself and see a stranger in the background. It makes あなた wonder how many strangers have pictures of you. How many moments of other people's lives have we been in? Were we a part of someone's life when their dream came true または were we there when their dreams died? Did we keep trying to get in? As if we were somehow destined to be there? または did the shot take us によって surprise? Just think あなた could be a big part of someone else's life and not even know it" 4.03

"There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment, あなた must choose your direction. Will あなた fight to stay on path? Will others tell あなた who あなた are? または will あなた label yourself? Will あなた be haunted によって your choice? または will あなた embrace your new path? Each morning あなた choose to 移動する フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして または simply give up."
"There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment who will あなた be? Will あなた let down your defenses, and find solace in someone unexpected? Will あなた reach out? Will あなた face your greatest fear bravely? And 移動する フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして with faith. または will あなた succumb to the darkness in your soul?" 4.04

"When life comes rushing at あなた from our of the darkness, who will あなた choose to face it with? Will it be someone あなた trust? Will they be wise? And will their 愛 for あなた help them to guide あなた to the light? または will they lose their way in the darkness? Will they make noble choices? または will that person be someone untested, someone new? Life comes rushing at あなた from out of the darkness, when it does -- is there someone in your life あなた can count on? Someone who will watch over あなた when あなた stumble and fall? And in that moment, give あなた the strength to face your fears alone?" 4.06

"Regret comes in all shapes and sizes. Some are small like when we do a bad thing for a good reason. Some are bigger like when あなた let down a friend. Some of us escape the pain of regret によって making the right choice. Some of us have little time for regret because we're looking フォワード, 前進, 楽しみにして to the future. Sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past, and sometimes we bury our regret によって promising to change your own ways. But, our biggest regrets are not for the things we did -- but, for the things we didn't do. Things we didn't say that could've save someone that we care about. Especially when we can see the dark storm that's headed their way" 4.07

"Have あなた ever wondered what marks our timing? If one life can really make an impact on the world? または if the choices we make matter? I believe they do. And I believe that one man can change many lives... for better, または worse" 4.10

"Have あなた ever had a dream that seemed so real that when あなた woke up あなた didn't know what to believe? What would あなた do if what あなた thought was true, wasn't, and what あなた thought wasn't true, was? Would あなた retreat into your dreams with the hope of finding a もっと見る perfect reality? Sometimes, life is stranger than a dream. And the only way to wake up is to face what lies hidden in yourself. And あなた can only hope that in those moments of dark reflection, that あなた are not alone" 4.11

"Sometimes pain becomes such a huge part of your life that あなた expect it to always be there because あなた can't remember the time of your life when it wasn't. But one day, あなた feel something else. Something that feels wrong only because it's so unfamiliar and in that moment あなた realize you're happy."

"Happiness comes in many forms. In company of friends, in the feeling あなた get when あなた make someone else's dream come true または in the promise with hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy because あなた never know how fleeting that happiness might be" 4.12

"You ever wonder how long it takes to change your life? What measure of time is enough to be life altering? Is it four years like high school? one year? an eight week rock tour? Can your life change in a month, または a week または a single day? We’re always in a hurry to grow up, to go places, to get ahead but when you’re young one 時 can change everything"

"I wish I woulda hung out with Glenda before today. Something tells me she could have been a great friend. But it's good to know there's still a little time left to do that... And I also learned her last name. And I learned that one 時 can change everything" 4.13

"If あなた could go back and just change one thing about your life, would you? And if あなた did, would that change make your life better? または would that change ultimately break your heart? または break the ハート, 心 of another? Would あなた choose an entirely different path? または would あなた change just one thing? Just one moment. One moment that you've always wanted back" 4.14

"William Blake once wrote: “There are things that are known and things that are unknown. And in between, there are doors” 4.17

"Sometimes I wonder if anyting is absloute anymore. Is there still right and wrong? Good and Bad? Truth and Lies? または is everything negotiable? Left to interpretation. Grey.

Sometimes we're forced to bend the truth. Transform it, becasue we're faced with things not of our own making. And sometimes...things simply catch up to us."

"Truth is still absolute. Believe that. Even when that truth is hard and cold and もっと見る painful and あなた ever imagined. And even when truth is もっと見る cruel than any lie." 4.18

"Graduation 日 木, ツリー 丘, ヒル High A 日 when we officially leave the refuge of high school and begin our real lives but what are those lies as we go into the world what matters most. Is it about the things we create, the things we achieve the awards we win? Is it about who we are when we fail? Whats もっと見る important? What we become または how we become it?" 4.20

SEASON 5

Much as some of us fight it, our parents have a mystical hold over us... the power to affect our thoughts and emotions the way only they can. It's a bond that changes over time but doesn't diminish, even if
they're half a world away... または in another world entirely. It's a power we never fully understand. We're left only to wonder that when our time comes, what kind of hold will
we have on our children? 5.04
