My view on 愛 is constantly changing between two states of mind, 愛 is a lie & 愛 is the best thing in the world.
View One: 愛 is a lie. an illusion. designed so people can have something to hope for. Don't get me wrong the concept is great but I don't think it exists. If it does exist it causes もっと見る sorrow than joy. The pain of 愛 is worse than anything else, physical または emotional. There is no 愛 it is an illusion, there is lust & friendship but no love. Caring about someone does not mean that あなた "love" them.
View Two: 愛 is the most amazing thing in the world. It makes あなた ecstatically happy & it's our entire purpose in life(ok maybe that's an exaggeration). It cures everything & helps you. It is everyone's dream & the best feeling in the world. The joy of 愛 is stronger tahn any pain.
