Chapter 3: Princes & Thieves

Celine woke up in the morning feeling extremely happy. To say that last night was amazing would be an understatement. Even though things were a bit awkward at first, it quickly got better when they arrived to the restaurant. Paul had led her to a 表, テーブル for two in the corner of the room so they would be もっと見る comfortable and they had talked all through dinner. It was incredible how much they had in common. Celine couldn't shake the feeling that she had somehow known him from before. As if she had met him in one of her dreams.
Sighing, Celine couldn't help but play the moment he had walked her ホーム in her head, over and over again. She had been nervous as she got closer to home. Of course she had kissed men before, but she sensed that with Paul, things could be different. Better. So of course the first キッス was an important stage of their relationship - if there was to be a relationship, anyway.
Unfortunately for her, she worried for nothing. He had just 発言しました goodnight and walked away.
Paul couldn't stop replaying in his head the moment he had walked her ホーム as well. He had been so stupid. He should have kissed her. But somehow, as he was about to キッス her goodnight, his brother's innuendos came to his head. A few hours before the date, as they were taking coffee at Celine's diner, Ian had 発言しました something about taking her for ディナー and then taking her back ホーム for "sealing the deal" as he put it. Paul noticed that Celine was not that far away and she had surely heard his brother's rudeness. That's why he didn't キッス her. He didn't want her to believe he just wanted a one-night stand. So despite what he wanted, he hadn't kissed her. And oh, how much he regretted it now.

Rachel had been up all night trying to find a suitable candidate to take down the mayor. So far, she had no options. She had to admit she hardly knew the people in town, therefore she couldn't know who had the most chances to beat the old witch. As she entered the sheriff station, she hoped that Aline would have asked around または worst case scenario, she'd ask Tyler, the most antisocial person she knew. That was saying something, coming from her. With a sigh, she pushed the door open.
"Good morning, Rachel" Aline 発言しました with a wide smile on her face as her friend entered the room.
"Someone's in a good mood." Rachel said, raising an eyebrow. "Something happened?"
"No. I just feel better today." Aline 発言しました while taking a bite of her doughnut. "Yesterday was a bit of a mess but today is a new day."
"If あなた say so." Rachel 発言しました while hanging her ジャケット on the コート rack's hook. "Any news on our secret mission?"
"What secret mission?" Tyler 発言しました while walking in.
"I'll fill あなた in on that later" Aline 発言しました while throwing him a doughnut. "Rachel, Nic Grace is actually waiting in your office to talk to あなた about that."
Rachel rushed into her office and found Nic waiting for her in front of her desk.
"Thanks for coming here, Nic. I believe Aline told あなた about what we're planning."
"Re-electing the old hag? I'm all for that."
"Good. We need all the help we can get. So I suppose あなた want to run for mayor." Rachel 発言しました while taking her シート, 座席 behind the desk.
"Actually no. But I have the perfect candidate for it."
Rachel raised an eyebrow.
"His name is Richard Stark." 発言しました Nic while taking a piece of paper out of his pocket. "Here, I wrote where he works. Shouldn't be that hard to find him." He handed her the address and then stood up as if he was getting ready to leave.
"Are あなた sure he will be a good fit?" Rachel asked while looking at the address, unimpressed.
"There's no better match." Nic replied with a wink.

A few 分 later, Rachel was arriving at Richard's office. It was a bit small but spacious. When Richard entered the room, Rachel was a bit taken aback. He was handsome. Like how-can-someone-be-this-hot type of guy. Shit, she thought. Richard looked up from his 机, デスク and smiled.
"Hello, my name's Richard Stark." He 発言しました while extending his hand.
"Rachel Leslie."
"Yes. I know, you're the sheriff. How can I help you?"
"Here's the thing. We need someone trustworthy."
"To do what, exactly?" Richard seemed a bit confused.
"Run for mayor." When Rachel saw that Richard seemed totally ロスト she added "Didn't Nic talk to あなた about it?"
"No. Why?"
"Because he's the one that recommended you. Okay, so your part is simple. Your mission, if あなた accept it, will be to run against Irene and win."
"What am I, James Bond?" Richard asked, laughing nervously.
Rachel, however, didn't seem amused. "Look, あなた just have to win."
"And what makes あなた think I will?"
"You have this whole I-was-born-to-lead look. I'm sure you'll do great. And I'll help you. So do we have a deal?" Rachel 発言しました while extending her hand, as if to make it official.
Richard hesitated. The whole thing was clearly insane, but there was something about this girl that made him want to try. Besides, what was the worst that could happen?
"Deal." He 発言しました while shaking her head and Rachel smiled.
The moment he saw her smile, he knew it was worth it.

Robb was riding as fast as he could through the forest of Nottingham, he hoped to reach the 城 before nightfall. Even if these woods were beautiful, he knew the dangers he would have to face if he had to camp out here. For a moment, Robb regretted to be in such a hurry that he couldn't take his time to explore this landscape as it was truly magnificent. Alas, Richard the Lionheart couldn't wait forever and Robb knew he must secure the king's allegiance to Winterfell during these troubled times. Failing meant the end of the war and losing his estate. His thoughts were interrupted when his horse reared abruptly. After calming it down, Robb noticed a fallen 木, ツリー in the middle of the road. He got off his horse to examine the scene and 移動する some of the branches. However, he soon realized that the 木, ツリー had been cut down on purpose. He was about to go back to his horse when he heard it neigh and a voice rose behind him.
"Now, now. Look what I've found." The voice 発言しました mockingly. As Robb was starting to pull out his sword, the voice spoke again.
"Don't move. If あなた do, I'll shoot あなた right through the heart." Robb heard a string being drawn and he dropped his sword back into its sheath. He was trapped. For once he was in a vulnerable position and what surprised him the most was that the voice belonged to a girl.
"You're a prince, aren't you?" The voice said, still with a mocking tone. Robb didn't answer. "Figured as much. Now hand me your ゴールド and I'll let あなた go."
"Why should I be afraid of you? You're just a girl." Robb hoped to distract her enough to be able to turn the situation around.
"Woman." the voice simply replied. Robb heard a few steps getting closer and then felt a cold and pointy object against the end of his scapula.
"Now, don't あなた feel my ARROW/アロー against your back? If あなた think I would hesitate for a second, you're a fool." The woman added while pressing the point of her ARROW/アロー against Robb's back, making him hiss in pain. "Now hand me the gold."
As Robb was reaching for his purse, a male voice rose nearby.
"The Sheriff of Nottingham is heading our way!"
Robb heard the woman sigh and then she 発言しました "Well, I guess this is your lucky day".
Suddenly, he couldn't feel her ARROW/アロー and realized she was gone. Turning around he saw her running toward the woods. Not wasting a second, he chased her after. He was taller than her so he caught up with her quickly. He tried to grab her but only succeeded in making them both fall. They tumbled down a slope until they were caught in a net.
They lay still until the net stabilized and they tried to catch their breath.
Robb, who didn't get a chance to have a look at the bandit before, was now looking at her intensely. Surely she was one of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her blonde hair was cascading down her shoulders and her cheeks were red because of all the running. But what struck him were her eyes. The blue in them reminded him of the ocean. However, he noticed her angry glare.
"Are all princes idiots like you?! Now we're trapped."
"That's okay. Eventually someone will cut us down. I'm Robb によって the way."

"Do あなた really think that I'd let あなた die, after everything that あなた said?"

The girl was about to say something when a man came out of the bushes. He had long black hair and a black beard that matched his black costume embroidered with gold. It was the Sheriff of Nottingham.
"Well, well, well. If it's not the legendary Jaime Locksley." The Sheriff 発言しました with an evil smile. "I told あなた I would catch you. It was just a matter of time."
"Well I thought I would let あなた catch me at least once." the woman replied with a smirk. "You were starting to look pathetic."
The smile faded from the Sheriff's face "Joke all あなた want, but we'll see if あなた still find this all so amusing when your head's on a spike. And あなた partner's as well." He 発言しました while pointing at Robb. "Guards! Take them away." He added while cutting them down.

Nic was pleased with himself. He'd already managed to get two couples to meet. Fair enough, the Paul and Celine 日付 had been all thanks to Ian, but if he hadn't done it, Nic would have. And now Richard and Rachel. He'd been thinking about it. Thinking if a "true love's kiss" could break the curse. At least for the specific people involved in the kiss. Of course he couldn't just force any of them to lock lips together. That wouldn't exactly serve the purpose, anyway. He knew the キッス would have to come from the heart. Nic knew he had better chances with Celine and Paul than he'd ever have with Rachel and Richard, considering the kind of person Rachel was. So when he sat down to have lunch with Paul and Ian the diner, the first thing he asked was:
"Did あなた guys kiss?"
Ian snorted, trying to fight back his laughter while Paul blushed, shaking his head.
"What? Why?" Nic exclaimed. "Didn't あなた have a nice time?"
"Why do あなた care so much?" Paul snapped. "Look, I just...I panicked."
"You? Never", Ian 発言しました in a mocking tone, but shut up when Paul gave him a cold stare.
"Are あなた going out with her again?"
"Probably", Paul said. "If she'll say yes."
"You should ask her. She's right there", Nic urged.
Ian gave Nic a suspicious glare. "No, really, why do あなた care so much?"
Nic sighed. "I don't. It's just that you're my friends, and I want あなた to be happy."
"I think I just threw up a little", Ian announced.
Paul snorted, trying very hard not to look at Celine, who was standing behind the counter, talking to Maria.
"Did あなた hear about how Rachel and Aline are planning to overthrow the mayor?" Nic asked.
"I don't even know who they are", Ian said.
"The sheriff and the deputy. I told them Richard would be a good fit."
"Oh, yeah, he would. That mayor has always annoyed me, anyway", Ian said. "She 発言しました I can't park in front of her office."
"Because that's a no-parking space", Paul 発言しました in a tired voice.
"How is that relevant?"
Nic ignored their bickering, getting up from the 表, テーブル and walking over to Maria and Celine.
"Hey", he turned to Maria. "Have あなた gone to read to the coma patient yet?"
"No, I'm going tomorrow. Why?" Maria asked.
"Nothing, I just...", Nic realized that he really had been behaving oddly lately. He had to try to be less suspicious. "Wanted to know when I could have the book back. I'm a sucker for fairytales."
Celine smirked at this, laughing a little.
"You can have it back now, if あなた want..."
"No. No. Read it to him. I'm sure he'll like it, too", Nic rushed to say. "Hey, can I get a slice of that coffee cake?"
He tried to ignore the confused looks Maria was giving him. Oh, how he wished he could tell her the whole truth right now. But she'd think him crazy, and he had to make sure that when the time came for the truth, he would see nothing but belief in his best friend's eyes.

"So he's seriously been going over to the キャビン to bring Harry and Grace 食 every day?" Albie asked in confusion. She and Amber were at the library, looking for もっと見る storybooks to read to the children.
"Yeah. Can あなた believe it?" Amber found herself smiling a little. "What kind of a person does that? It's really selfless, considering that he's gotten arrested for doing it, too."
Albie smiled a little at this. "You know, he isn't bad looking または anything. James."
Amber looked up at her friend in confusion. "I know, but how does that have to.....?" she saw the suggestive look on Albie's face, which made her shake hers. "No, no. Come on. Don't be stupid. I'm not going to go out with someone who is basically a father figure to my students."
"What I'm saying is that it's been a while since you've had some fun in your life", Albie smiled gently. "And I think there would be nothing wrong with letting yourself go every once in a while."
Amber sighed. "Let's just get to the school, okay? Lunch time is almost over."
Albie had no choice but to follow her.

"You look happy", Aline 発言しました as Rachel got back to the police station. "What's with the smile?"
"I think I just found us a candidate", Rachel said.
"Who did Nic have in mind?"
"Richard Stark. He's an architect; he's designed a few buildings in town, so he's familiar with it. He's young, he's very handsome, and he has a lot of フレンズ here. Everyone is going to pick him over that hag."
Aline smiled. She wasn't going to say what she wanted to say. She wasn't going to point out how Rachel had never called a man handsome in her life, let alone talked about anyone with such admiration. Aline knew that if she'd mention any of these things, it would only spook Rachel and make her back down from the whole project. "And he 発言しました yes?"
"I didn't exactly give him a choice, but yes, he 発言しました yes. I think what we need to do is start up some sort of a campaign. Make posters, fliers, figure out what it is that people want changed in this city. Which would actually involve talking to people", she made a face. "But it'll be worth it to see her gone. Just what the hell are あなた smiling at?"
Aline laughed a little. "Nothing. It's just been a while since I've seen あなた excited about anything."
"I'm not excited about anything. Speaking of unexciting things, how did it go with that ボート guy yesterday?"
"He moved his boat. And asked me out."
Rachel smirked. "Was he hot, then?"
Aline blushed a little. "Yes, but that's beside the point."



"Could あなた two please stop talking about guys?" they turned over to the 机, デスク where Tyler was sitting, looking rather miserable due to all this "girl talk".
"Agreed", Rachel nodded. "So, あなた guys go out and ask what people want changed in this town. Now."
"What are あなた going to do, then?"
"I'm going to start thinking about the campaign. And yes, because I'm your boss, I get to be the one to avoid talking to people. Bye."
She watched as her deputies walked out before noticing a bow and an ARROW/アロー case leaning against the ウォール at the back of the room. Had someone left them there? She walked over to them, lifting the bow, surprised at how light it was. She grabbed an ARROW/アロー from the case and tried to find a good position. She was aiming at the closed door that led out of the room, but just when she was about to let go, the door opened and the mayor's assistant, Holly, walked in. She stopped in her tracks when she noticed Rachel pointing the bow and ARROW/アロー at her.
"What are あなた doing?"
"I was going to practice archery before あなた decided to come and ruin my good day", Rachel placed the bow and ARROW/アロー back on the floor, trying to shake the weird feeling of familiarity. As if she'd shot arrows every 日 for as long as she could remember. But she hadn't. She couldn't remember ever learning archery in her life.
"That's not very polite", ヒイラギ, ホリー 発言しました as she walked further into the room. "So is what I'm hearing true? You're looking for a candidate to run against the mayor?"
"I can't possibly imagine where あなた could have heard anything of that sort", Rachel 発言しました plainly. "Tell me, don't あなた ever get tired of being her lackey?"
"I'm her personal assistant. And I'm a teacher. I bet my pay is better than yours, for one", ヒイラギ, ホリー said.
"Probably is. Could it be because all あなた do is suck up to the one in charge?"
"And is that the reason you've chosen someone like Richard Stark as your candidate? So you'll get benefits if he's elected?"
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
ヒイラギ, ホリー merely glared at her. "He's not going to win."
"Oh, yeah? Then why are あなた here, threatening me?"
ヒイラギ, ホリー walked closer to Rachel with an angry glare on her beautiful face. "You don't want to mess with me. I can destroy you, I promise あなた that."



"I'm right here. Do your worst", Rachel 発言しました just as angrily.
"Once the election is over, and your prince charming loses, you're going to wish あなた never got in the middle of all this", ヒイラギ, ホリー promised, heading out of the room.
"I can promise あなた the same, when my "prince charming" wins", Rachel said, watching as ヒイラギ, ホリー walked out. As soon as the door had slammed closed, she groaned, kicking the bow in anger and sitting back down in front of her desk. She had to get to work.

Due to Nic's encouragements, Maria had decided to go ahead and read to the coma patient earlier, after her shift at the diner. She headed towards the hospital, and as soon as she was inside, Ines Clarke walked over to her with a look of relief on her face. "Thank god you're here, we're running out of nurses."
"Oh, I was actually...."
Maria ended up helping for two hours. She emptied bedpans, she talked to old patients about their grandchildren, she helped Ines and Fatemeh prep a patient, until finally she was allowed to go home. But of course she wasn't going anywhere just yet. She walked all the way towards the place where they were supposed to keep the coma patient, but when she reached the room, it was empty.
"Where....what?"
"What?" Ines was walking down the hall when she saw Maria. "Who are あなた looking for?"
"The John Doe in this room", Maria said. "Where is he? He's not dead, is he?"
"No, we just moved him to another room", Ines said.
Maria sighed in relief. For a moment she'd thought.... She didn't even know why she cared so much, but she did, and she didn't want him to die. She wanted him to wake up.
Ines led her to another room across the hospital and smiled. "Do あなた know him?"
"No", Maria said. "I just like to read to him." It was the same response as she'd 与えられた to Fatemeh, but somehow it felt もっと見る like a lie now. She felt like she did know him, somehow.
"I'll leave あなた alone", Ines closed the door after her.
Maria sat down in the chair 次 to the ベッド and sighed. "I'm sorry about this, I know あなた don't know me, but a friend asked me to read this to you, so here we go. I hope あなた like Cinderella", she opened the book and began to read.

"Do あなた think Nic's been 芝居 a bit weird lately?" Atie asked as she and Rana were at the office where they worked on the newspaper.
"Yeah, a little, but that's just Nic", Rana shrugged.
"I think there's something もっと見る than that", Atie said. She walked over to where Nic's 机, デスク was and opened the drawer. She noticed a black file filled with papers, but just as she was about to lift it from the drawer, they heard someone clear their throat, and as they turned to the doorway, they saw Aline looking at them.
"Oh, hi. Aline, right?" Rana asked.
"Yes", Aline said. She turned to look at Atie, whose hand was still in Nic's drawer. Atie quickly closed the drawer and smiled. "How can we help you?"
"Could あなた print this?" she'd made a draft about Richard's campaign after asking around. It turned out that they didn't need much to beat the mayor, since everyone hated her, and a lot of the people knew and liked Richard. He truly seemed like a person who was born to lead.
Rana grabbed it and read through it. "Richard Stark is running for mayor?"
"Yeah. Rachel and I had an idea to overthrow Irene, and, well, Nic found Richard for us."
"Well, we're on board, certainly", Atie said. "That hag's threatening to shut down the newspaper because we never print anything useful."
"It seems like she wants to shut everything down. But why? What is she planning?" Rana asked.
"I hope we never have to find out", Aline 発言しました as she headed for the door. "Thanks, guys!"

When Robb regained consciousness, he realized he was in a cell. Still a little dizzy, he sat up and took time to look around him. There was not enough light to allow him recognize where he was but still he could distinguish a silhouette not that far away from him, behind his cage's bars.
"Time to rise and shine Sleeping Beauty." Robb recognized the voice of the woman from earlier. She was locked in the cell 次 to his and seemed to be bored out of her mind. He suspected that she had been conscious for a while now and what surprised him was that she didn't seem to look for a way to escape.
"Where are we?" he asked while rubbing his head.
"Well, isn't that obvious?" The woman turned her head towards him with a raised eyebrow. Seeing that Robb had no clue, she sighed and 発言しました "In the castle's prison of course."
Suddenly, the events that lead to their capture came back to Robb's mind.
"Your name's Jaime, right?" Robb asked, while getting closer to her. At that, the woman snorted.
"Aren't あなた Prince Obvious." she said, mocking him once again. "Haven't あなた heard the Sheriff earlier? That's what he called me."
"No, I know. But the name seems somewhat odd for someone like you."
"Because I am a woman?" she asked with a raised eyebrow once again "Well, if it's any interest to you, that's not my real name. Just something I thought of, in the moment."
"What's your name then?"
"Like I would tell you." she 発言しました with a little laugh.

"Well, I'm not just any bandit."

"Right. So why aren't あなた trying to escape? Don't あなた have experience with things like this?"
"Actually no. I've never been caught before." she seemed very proud of that fact. "If it hadn't been for you, I would have escaped this time too."
"Well, I will certainly not be sorry for helping catch a bandit." Robb 発言しました with an angry glare.
"So you'll be glad to know that I am to be executed in the morning."
At that, Robb didn't know what to say. Of course he wanted bandits to be punished but she was just a girl. How could she have done something that required the most severe sentence?
As if she was able to read his mind, she 発言しました "Sheriff of Nottingham. He wants me dead."
"Why's that? What could あなた have possibly done to him?"
"I ストール, 盗んだ from him. To give to the deserving people of Nottingham. And let's say he doesn't like to see them enjoying his wealth."
"You help the people?" Robb was taken aback によって her sudden revelation. She always seemed to surprise him when he least expects it.
"Always this tone of surprise. Is it really that shocking that someone can be stealing for a honorable reason?"
"Yes. It's just not what bandits do."
"Well, I'm not just any bandit." she 発言しました while looking at him once again and realized he was watching her too.
"I noticed." Robb 発言しました with a small smile.
As they locked eyes, they fell quiet for a while, trying not to spoil the moment. When Robb was about to say something, two guards came in, closely followed によって the Sheriff himself.
"Prince Robb. There has been a misunderstanding." The Sheriff began while putting his key in the lock of Robb's cell. "When I caught this... bandit. I didn't know who あなた were and I assumed あなた were one of her Merry Men." he continued while looking at Jaime with disgust. "My sincere apologies. Now the King's waiting for you, follow me please." He 発言しました heading towards the door.
Robb looked at Jaime and didn't know what to do. He couldn't let her die, not after everything she had told him. But what can he do? As he was getting out of the dungeon, Robb promised himself he would find a way to stop the execution.

Tyler parked his car in front of the としょうかん, ライブラリ as he always did on Thursdays. When he spotted Stiles's car, he sighed. Every Thursdays it was the same, Stiles would park his car in the restricted area, in front of one of the shops in town and then the owner would call the Sheriff department in order to 移動する it. Now Tyler didn't even bother to wait for the call, it was now part of his routine to pass によって the library, which was situated on the other side of the street, and check if the car was there. And it was, every fucking single time. Suddenly his thoughts were interrupted when his phone started ringing. Sighing he pulled it off out of his pocket and looked at the caller: Rachel.
He knew it had to be something important for her to call him.
"Yeah, Rach."
"Tyler. We need to talk."
"Is something wrong?"
"Did Aline tell あなた about our plan?"
"Yeah she did. And frankly it's ridiculous. You're not going to win. The hag is not going to let you." he then heard Rachel sigh.
"Whatever Tyler, it's not why I'm calling."
"Fine. What's up?"
"Do あなた remember the mayor's assistant, Holly?"
"Yeah. Isn't she the brunette who's always with her?"
"Yeah exactly. あなた find her pretty right?"
Tyler was a bit confused about this question. Rachel wasn't really the type of asking things like that. Did she have a concussion または something?
"Yes. But Rachel, are あなた sure you're okay?"
"I'm fine. I just need あなた to do something for me." Tyler could hear her smile. This couldn't be good. "Tyler? Are あなた still here?"
"Yeah. What do あなた want?"
"It's simple really. あなた have to take her on a 日付 and try to collect as many intel as あなた can about the witch's plan."
"What? Are あなた insane? I'm not doing that."
"Come on, it's just one date. I'm not asking あなた to get married. And あなた 発言しました she's pretty so what's the problem?"
"It's a bit immoral, don't あなた think?"
"It's nothing they wouldn't do."
"Rach, you're being crazy. Just chill または something." At that, Tyler hang up.
Tyler was dumbfounded. She couldn't be serious about this. But he didn't have time to think about it when he saw Stiles getting out of his car and heading to the library.
Tyler thought it was best to approach him now.
"Stiles. Wait up."



"Can I help あなた with anything deputy?"
"Yes. I don't know if あなた noticed but every Thursday,you park your car in this restricted area. How come this doesn't bother あなた that あなた get fines every week?" Seeing Stiles wasn't going to answer he added "If あなた could only 移動する your car..."
"I'm sorry but I have something to do. Just put another fine on it または take the car for all I care. Now if you'll excuse me..."
Tyler was furious. He had better things to do than this. That's why he decided to text Rachel about her crazy idea. "I'm in."

Maria turned the page and started 読書 the part when シンデレラ arrives at the ball. She was about to meet the prince when Maria thought it was crazy to keep 読書 the story to John Doe. He's not even conscious, it feels like I'm talking によって myself, she thought.
"This is so weird." she 発言しました to John Doe "and I can see that everyone thinks so too. At the end of this chapter, I'll stop and go home. Anyway where was I? Oh yeah. 秒 later, Ines, Fatemeh and several other nurses rushed in John Doe's room. Dr Eaton came rushing him as well.
"What happened to him?" he asked Maria.

Ines was already ready and handed him the paddles quickly.
"Clear." He applied the paddles on John Doe but after the discharge, the line of the monitor was still flat. "Recharge. Come on, don't あなた die on me."
"Clear." Again, there was another discharge but this time, the pulse raised up and stabilized.
Everyone let out a sigh of relief and Ines had to find Maria to tell her the good news. Fatemeh, on the other hand, headed towards the locker rooms. She had a call to make. The mayor won't be pleased about what just happened, she thought.

Richard couldn't get Sheriff Leslie out of his mind. She had spunk, he liked that about her. Still, there was something もっと見る about her that made him go to the Sheriff Station in the afternoon.
As soon as he entered, he noticed a blonde woman rummaging around her desk, full of papers and flyers. He even recognized his name in some of them.

Before Richard could even thank her, Rachel exited her office.

"They're good. But maybe あなた could use a bit of color." he 発言しました with a smile.
"Well it happens that I prefer them black and white." she snatched the paper out of his hand.
"Alright. I was just pointing out that color seems to catch people's attention better and campaign managers always go for that."
"Well, I'm not just any campaign manager."
"I noticed." Richard 発言しました with a small smile.

Jaime was searching for a way of getting out of the dungeons' cells but there was just no way. She was done. Tomorrow morning, she would be executed and that would be it. The end. She wondered what her father would say if he could be here. Would he be proud of what she had done in order to protect innocents または would he be disappointed? Somehow, she knew he would have done the same and that make it all worth it, even if she was going to die. How could the king allow the Sheriff to impose such a tyranny on his land, that she did not know. When she was a child, she used to think that monarchs were always the wise ones. That nothing could go unnoticed によって them and they always find a way to make things right. But that was just the case in the kingdom she came from. Since then, life had proved her wrong. However, today she felt this hope again, that maybe, just maybe she could be wrong. Robb seemed to understand why she had done what she did and now she would never see him again. "I know." he 発言しました while looking at her. "But what kind of man would I be if I didn't help あなた escape?" Seeing she wasn't going to answer, he handed her a dagger "Here, あなた might need this."
"Thank you. I will never forget this."
"I'm counting on that." He 発言しました with a crooked smile, before exiting the dungeon.
Perhaps there was still hope for her after all, she thought while walking up the stairs towards freedom.

Stiles walked inside the library. He had been short on stuff to read for the past week, and he was eager for something new. And in truth, he wanted to see the librarian again. She was so beautiful with her brown hair and kind smile. She was always nice to him and sometimes even stopped to chat with him. And still Stiles didn't even know her name.
He paused as he entered. The girl was stacking up 本 to a nearby shelf, and she had about ten 本 in hand, and she seemed to be struggling. Other than for them, the place seemed to be empty.
"Do あなた need help?" Stiles called out. The girl turned to look at him, and as she did, the 本 fell from her hands, and she groaned, moving to pick them up. Stiles rushed over to her and helped her pile them in her hands again.
"Sorry", he rushed to say.
"No, it's not your fault, I was just clumsy", the girl looked at him with a smile on her face. "You come here often. Stiles, right?"
He blushed a little. "Yeah. In fact, I think I need something to read. Any suggestions?"
The girl stood back up, Stiles quickly following.
"I don't know. What sort of 本 do あなた like?"

"Well, have あなた read Harry Potter?" The girl asked as she walked over to her 机, デスク and put the 本 down.
"No. But isn't that for kids?" Stiles asked in suspicion.

"What do I get, then? If I read this?" Stiles smirked.
The girl chuckled. "You get the joy of 読書 the best book in the world."
"Besides that?"
"What would あなた want, then?"
"Would あなた go out with me?" Stiles rushed to ask. He didn't do stuff like this often, and he was sure she'd say no. But she didn't.
"I'd 愛 to", she said. "If あなた get started on the book."
"Great. I'll come pick あなた up tomorrow", Stiles said, heading for the door before she had time to change her mind. "What's your name?"
The girl smirked. "I'll tell あなた tomorrow."

Aline had excused herself to give Rachel and Richard some privacy, and as she was walking down the streets of Rosedell, she found herself, as always, walking all the way to her お気に入り spot. The lake. She didn't know what it was about that place that drew her closer, but she didn't mind. It was peaceful there. She felt like she was in a world of her own. She even saw a few swans swimming in the surface.
"It's a lovely place, isn't it?" she turned around to see Nic looking at her.
"Hey. What are あなた doing here?" Aline asked in confusion.



"I like to come here, too", it was a lie. Nic had been observing Aline. It was true she often came here. And there was a reason. And he was determined for her to remember it, too. He turned his gaze over to the lake. "Do あなた like swans?"
"They're nice, I suppose", Aline snorted. "Are あなた okay?"
"Yes", Nic rushed to say. "Yes. So, how is Rachel doing with Richard?"
"They seem to be getting along really well, actually. I think あなた really did her a favor によって introducing him. She needs someone like him in her life."
Nic was relieved. Perhaps there was hope for them after all. "Good. But あなた do know that he's not going to win unless we do something to.... well, make him stand out?"
"Like what?" Aline asked.
"I'm sure we'll think of something", Nic smiled.
"Since when have あなた been interested in helping us, anyway?" Aline asked. "We've never been close."
Nic shrugged. "Maybe I'm just seeing things もっと見る clearly. Enjoy the lake", with that he walked away. He had もっと見る work to do.
