[Jazz]
We took turns finding food. I would hunt, gather fruits, and 魚 while Cassidy and Cole looked for a way off the island. Cole would do the same while Cassidy and I looked for a way off. Cassidy did too, ect, ect.
Today, Cole and I sat at the edge of the highest cliff on the whole island, looking for some sign of other life. The cliff itself was a clearing behind some trees. Walk up the hills, travel through the small dense forest, then あなた find our spot.
Cassidy was hunting. We sat at the edge of the cliff, our legs hanging off.
"You think we'll ever get away?" I asked him.
"To be honest, I don't know." He said.
"How long-" "so what-"
"You go first," I said.
"So what happened between あなた and Kai? I mean, I know he isn't really a ファン of your's, but really, he acts like he's Harry Potter and you're Belatrix." 発言しました Cole, looking down at his shoes.
"You like Harry Potter?" I asked.
"No. Cassidy does. She's 読書 I for the 60th time." He said.

"Everything but the 'I 愛 You,'" he said.
"I could be the one to say that," I said.
He looked up, "what?" There was the most adorably confused countenance on his face.
"I was kidding." I reassured him.
He gave a slight chuckle.
"What goes on with Garmadon? In the off-time?" He asked.
"Oh あなた know, a little this, a little that. I'll act as servent sometimes when one of the skeleton generals are sick, but that generally gets me into his good range. Er– it did." I said.
We both laughed together.
"Do you–?" He stopped dead.
"Do I what?" I asked.
"Do あなた like Kai?" He asked.
"No. Not really. It's もっと見る of a complicated cousin-once-removed thing. He doesn't like me, and I try to be his friend, but mess up. Why, do あなた like him?" I asked.
"No, that's gay!" He said.
"So you're against gay rights?" I asked.
"No, I'm just not gay myself. I like girls," he said. When I looked away he added, "girls like you."
I knew he didn't want me to hear that, so I ignored it.
"Jazz?" He asked.
I looked at him.
He looked at me.
He leaned in close and I followed his lead. I kissed him, and he kissed me. I had my eyes close, so I didn't see the sparks and the fireworks and doves in the heat of the moment, but I could feel them.
He backed off.
"What?"
He shook his head, looked behind us, then looked back at me.
"I though I heard someone. Must've been a deer."
The sun was setting and had cast beautiful shades of orange, ピンク and yellow all over. Our shadows grew taller.
Cole leaned in again, and so did I. He kissed me again and I kissed him. I felt a strange feeling of betrayal. I began to think of the worst, as I so often do. 'What if Cole is in 愛 with someone else? What if someone else is in 愛 with him? What is he has a girlfriend? What if Cassidy's his girlfriend?' But no, she doesn't seem to like him all too much. I'm sure they're perfectly settled in the friendzone.
All of a sudden, instinct took over me. I pulled him Ito a hug. When he tried to get out, I let him. He stood up, pulling me up with him. He wrapped his arms around my waists as if we were dancing a slow song. He leaned in again. So did I.
[Cassidy]
I'm crying. あなた can't see it from your computer screen right now, but I'm crying. He's blamed me for cheating. And I caught him with some other prissy little twig servant of Garmadon's! Two-timing little snake. 'I 愛 you…'. Like hell! I just. . . Can't believe. . .
I had just caught a deer, and was bringing them back. It took a while to scrawl up the 丘, ヒル with about 200 lbs on my back. But when I did, I heard Cole and Jazz talking.
"Seems like she tells あなた everything." Jazz said. Great, they were talking about someone. Probably me.
"Everything but the 'I 愛 You,'" he said.
"I could be the one to say that," Jazz said.
Cole looked up, "what?"
"I was kidding." Jazz told him.
Cole gave a slight chuckle.
"What goes on with Garmadon? In the off-time?" He asked.

They both laughed together. A wave of emotions roared through my body, but I did not intervene. I wanted to see where this went.
"Do you–?" He stopped dead.
"Do I what?" Jazz asked.
"Yeah, what?" I asked quietly. He didn't hear me, as I intended him not to.
"Do あなた like Kai?" He asked.
"No. Not really. It's もっと見る of a complicated cousin-once-removed thing. He doesn't like me, and I try to be his friend, but mess up. Why, do あなた like him?" Jazz said.
"No, that's gay!" Cole said.
"So you're against gay rights?" Jazz asked.
"No, I'm just not gay myself. I like girls," he said, "girls like you."
Jazz gave no sin that she heard.
"Jazz?" He asked.
She looked at him.
He looked at her.
They leaned in, and I looked away. I knew what came next. I could feel the betrayal like a cold syringe injecting poison in my veins.
After a bit, I didn't hear anything, so I looked up and took a step, almost falling. I broke a few branches. But I stayed still and silent, so as not to be noticed, closing my eyes again to not see the two of them kiss.
"What?" I heard Jazz ask. I looked up.
Cole's head shook. He looked at me, and I felt a terrible searing pain. He'd seen me see him キッス her.
"I though I heard someone. Must've been a deer." He said.
They leaned in again. They kissed. I could've died. I know Cole saw me, I know it! He just ignored me, and went back to Jazz. My ハート, 心 sunk. I thought they would hear it, hear my soul being torn apart with every passing 秒 they kissed. But no. Only those who care could hear it. Also known as not them.
All of a sudden, they were standing in a ball-room dance position. He leaned in again. I walked away.
I sat on the sandy ビーチ on the other side of the island. It was early morning. I would have heard them calling me if they even bothered to look. No, they didn't bother, they didn't care. He didn't care. He doesn't care! He never cared and he never loved and he never hoped we would be us forever! And he never will! Never will care that I'm possible dead または ロスト on the island; never will 愛 me; never will hope that it wouldn't just be Cole and Cassidy, hope that it will always be us. He never will.
I was trapped in that kind of thought, so I didn't see it coming. Kai in a helicopter.
He landed yards away from me.
"Cassidy?" He asked.
I nodded, and ran and hugged him. And hugged him, and hugged him.

"No." I said, crying again.
"Are あなた okay?!" He said, "you- あなた never cry! Are あなた hurt? Do あなた need–"
"Please take me home?" I asked.
"That's what I was gonna do. Is anyone else on the island." He asked.
I hesitated before answering. Let them have their lover's paradise. "no." I said.
He hopped into the helicopter and I followed him.
Jealousy suddenly swept over me, and even though they weren't here, I pulled Kai into another hug.
"Pardon?" He asked, not noticing または understanding my jealousy.
"N- nothing. I'm just a little- a little shaken. I wanted some comfort. . ." I said.
He hit the ignition and we were off.

Now I really feel sorry. For Cassidy, because she's probably heartbroken; for Jazz, because I dragged her into this. She doesn't even know me and Cassidy are a thing. She did look uncomfortable at first, though; for myself, too. I can't help but think this wouldn't have happens if Cassidy didn't make that コメント about that guy; Showed me his letters.

"You think we'll ever get away?" Jazz asked me.
"To be honest, I don't know." I answered.

"I was kidding." she said, poking me in the arm.
I laughed a little.

"Do you–?" I didn't finish the thought. I didn't want to.

"Do あなた like Kai?" I covered me self with a lie. I already knew this, but I wanted to know if she liked me.
"No. Not really. It's もっと見る of a complicated cousin-once-removed thing. He doesn't like me, and I try to be his friend, but mess up. Why, do あなた like him?" She said, adding the joke 質問 at the end.
"No, that's gay!" I said.
"So you're against gay rights?" She became suddenly stern.
"No, I'm just not gay myself. I like girls," he said. When she looked away I added, "girls like you."
I hoped she didn't hear that. She didn't turn, so I don't think she did.
"Jazz?" I asked.
she looked at me.
I looked at her.
Instinct took over. I leaned in and kissed her. It was exciting. I hadn't gotten father than holding hands with Cassidy. Now all of a sudden, there's Jazz. She understood me, she was like me. She was beautiful. I never noticed how much prettier a girl can be when あなた 表示する her あなた 愛 her. But wait, I could have sworn I heard something.
I backed off.
"What?" Jazz asked.
I shook my head, and looked behind us. Sure enough, there was Cassidy. My stomach did a summersault. She was on the verge of tears. I didn't want to make it any worse. I pretended I had not seen her.
"I though I heard someone. Must've been a deer." I said, turning back to Jazz.
Under cover of the beautiful sunset, we kissed again.
Jazz wrapped her arms around me. but i pushed away. I stood up and she stood up after me. I pulled her towards me and leaned in close. So did she.
The 次 morning, that was all I remembered. The horrible scene. Horribly beautiful. Beautifully horrible. I feel like an ass.
Above that, Cassidy was gone. Just gone. I looked over all the island. Well, mostly. Cassidy was on full opposite side of the island. I just didn't bother "finding" her because she would beat me to a pulp.
But soon did I discover that I should have talked to her. Later that day, I saw her and (who else but the person who liked her before she liked me) Kai flying off in a helicopter. But I didn't tell Jazz. She would have been mad.
After the encounter last night, Jazz and I didn't seem to want to talk to each other. She would go for water and I would stay here; I would go for 食 and she would stay here.
Other than that, it was pretty much the same as the week we'd spent here.
