Now that "Just Add Magic" is back for Season 2 (1/13/17) I can review the first season. The season finale could serve as the series finale and for a LONG time that seemed to be the case. The episodes were Copyrighted 2015, so I assumed this was going to be the only season. All your 質問 from the first season are answered in the season finale and the final event gave them material for another season without it feeling like a cliffhanger. I was fine with the way things ended. This is the only kids 表示する I've seen with an over-arching plot. I'm 22, and I 愛 to watch 食 Network, so a 表示する about a magic cookbook drew me in. I got caught up in the drama and mystery as well. This is as well written as the kid shows on PBS, it deals with consequences, friendship, and illness of a loved one. (In this case the loved one is cursed, but it is treated によって the adults as an illness.) I like how the recipes the girls cook are at the center of each episode; how much detail they shoot of each recipe. The world they create is totally engrossing, because the magic is complex; what each family of ingredients does the consequences of the spell go together nicely. Why isn't Season 1 on DVD? Ten years from now is it still going to be available on アマゾン Prime? Most of the shows I used to watch as a kid don't air now. Hopefully streaming can improve the quality of kid shows as well as their longevity.
