What is the difference between white and yellow gold?

I'm not positive, but my friend told me that white ゴールド looks もっと見る like silver and yellow gold's what most people think of when they think of gold

white ゴールド is silver and yellow ゴールド looks もっと見る like normal gold

The white ones are so much prettier!
