Smouldering criminal Jeremy Meeks got some bad news in court – but there are more photos to swoon over.

The suspected gangster quickly shot to fame after a hot police mugshot stole the hearts of women and men around the world.

Yesterday he made his first appearance since the snap – which has got top modelling agencies ready to sign him – to face charges in court.

The bad news: Meeks could face a prison sentence of up to ten years after he was charged with ‘felon in possession of a firearm’.

The good news: He turned up in a baggy orange ensemble (we believe Dolce & Gabanna) and maintained his sexy crestfallen look for the cameras.

Many have tried, and failed, to replicate the signature look.

Sure, crime shouldn’t pay, but in Meeks’ case modelling agencies are willing to make an exception.

It’s been reported that the chiseled 30-year-old could bag up to $30,000 (£17,500) in contracts.

Blaze Modelz told TMZ that ‘gangster models’ are hot right now and claims it can book Meeks with high-end fashion houses like Versace and Armani.
