Anyone ever had this problem?

I had an accident with my ipodの, ipod a hours 前 ago; I was walking home, I tripped, I fell and my ipodの, ipod hit the concrete pretty hard. Now something strange is happening to it;

If I were to play it without my headphones plugged in, I can hear music. But when I plug my headphones in, I can't hear a sound at all. I don't know what's wrong with it, または what I did または how to fix it.

Have あなた had this problem before and/or have any idea on what to do for it?

I've never had this problem before but I suggest taking it to the 林檎, アップル store. Of coarse if they know the damage is your fault, and can't fix it あなた have to pay for a new one, but if the damange isn't your fault they give あなた a free one.

The only reason I can think of is that the headphone jack malfuntioned. Here's an answer from another website.

The problem is the internal headphone jack has malfunctioned. To fix the problem first try doing a hard reset, then update your ipodの, ipod with the newest version for it. Also try blowing it out with canned air. If this does not work and あなた are still under warranty schedule an appointment with a genius at your local 林檎, アップル Store. If あなた don't have a warranty then order an internal headphone jack online and install it yourself, because 林檎, アップル will charge あなた もっと見る than your ipodの, ipod is worth.
