Remember the first episode, The Nightmare Begins? Zim ruined Opperation Impending Doom 1, so the Tallest banished him to Foodcourtia. He was changed from an Invader to a 食 worker dude er whatever. When time came for Impending Doom 2, Zim escaped Foodcourtia and went to the convention planet where the Tallest where calling trainies to be Invaders. Zim showed up in the end even though he wasnt an Invader. The Tallest gave him a planet that they weren't even sure exsisted just to get him off they're backs, hoping he would get ロスト in space. Zim ended up landing on Earth after 6 months of ガー and his "Doom Somg". Thinking it was the planet he was assighned to, Zim started to try and take it over. He obviously failed numberous times...poor Zim. :(
Zim went through training to become a soldier. Then he took a test to see if he had what it took to become an Irken Elite (dunno how he managed to pass that test).
Since only Irken Elite soldiers have a chance to become Invaders (citizens and ordinary soldiers can't become Invaders) the Tallests choose only the best of the Irkens Elite to become Invaders. Only a small number of Elites are chosen.
Zim was an Irken Elite before being chosen to become an Invader. However on Operation Impending Doom, Zim almost destroyed his homeplanet.
As punishment for destruction of Irk and the other Invaders. Zim was demoted to the rank of a 食 Service Drone and banished to Foodcourtia. Zim went aloung with it thinking it was a vacation.
Didnt あなた watch the first episode??? Ok, it starts with the great assigning...Skoodge is last, then Zim shows up and annoys the tallest to be an invader, well, then the flashback starts! He destroyed operantion impending doom I and now he seeks to complete O.I.D II. The tallest sent him to an unknown planet, または just very far off in the galaxy, which was originally supposed to kill him, but he made it to earth. Now, he suffers dibs large head and girs adorablness. Hes not really an invader though...

I can qoute that whole episode... but Zim was an invader before that...
OH!! Well he was a part of Operation Impending DoomII, he mustve been part of another great assigning...i dont know ask Jhonen he knows!! Eメール him または something!
