NO! I liked him MUCH better in the first series. I don't think he looks cuter at all. I think he looks just worse, and if anything I was disappointed. I hate it when the animators try to make him look like he does in the manga, it's just not the same. Eh....I think he looked MUCH better in the original series...loved the screenshots....BUT in the Final Act the アニメーション was improved (it was made 5 years later, duh?) so I was able to get better details of him I guess. Besides he had もっと見る on-screen time which I did not mind at all!
