Hmmm…A fic when I 発言しました I wouldn’t write anymore until the summer…??? Must be a special occasion…maybe a birthday…??? OMG!!! It must be somebody’s birthday…but who??? Karly??? Oh yeah!!! Karly!!! Hahaha…yeah. I promised this fic for her birthday:) Here it is. Oh and…HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

House had been sitting in his-Foreman’s office trying to figure out the newest case. He sat in the chair. ‘It remebers my cheeks.’ He thought as he sat. He fiddled with a pen for a few 分 while trying to think. ‘This will never work.’ He looked at the pen and then at the red ball that used to be his sititng on Foreman’s desk. He wheeled the chair over to the 机, デスク and snatched the red ball off of it. He tossed it back and forth between his hands before bouncing it off the wall. He could now think properley…until the sound of the familiar click clack of Cuddy’s heels getting closer. They came to a slow as she approached the office. “Hey.” She 発言しました entering quietly. She had a different light to her…or maybe a lack of light. She looked sadder than usual to him. “Hi.” He replied back, stopping the ball and setting it back on the desk. She came closer and sat in the empty chair close to him. They just sat there, silent…verbally. Her thoughts on the other hand screamed guilty as did her facial expressing. “What’s up?” He asked finally. She looked at him innocentley. “Nothing.”

Silence took over again, accomponied with the sounds of breaths here and there. “House.” She finally said, looking into his eyes and then realizing just how powerful they were and looking away. She burried her face in her hands. “Who is it?” He asked knowing what this was about. “Wait…you know?” She asked surprised. “You come to talk to me…I assume. Then あなた sit and act like あなた wanna talk but don’t. Guilt is written all over your face. あなた are afraid of telling me something. あなた aren’t afraid of telling me something unless あなた think it might hurt me…or you might hurt me…which means あなた are either pregnant または dating someone. Seeing as your bod is still zesty…you’re dating someone.” He explained while she listened in guilt and shame. “…it’s Lucas.” She told him. His eyes got big for a スプリット, 分割 秒 and she swore she could see his ハート, 心 break right then and there. He nodded and put on his House face again. Nothing もっと見る was 発言しました between them. She nodded, with tears in her eyes, and left him where he sat and secretley cried a single tear…which is a lot for House.

That was over 2 weeks ago, 16 days to be exact, and yes, he had been counting. His ハート, 心 had indeed broken and his feelings for Cuddy had become even もっと見る stronger…but his faith had dimmed. He had avoided Cuddy at all costs but sometimes they caught eachother. Neither spoke, they just bowed their heads and walked out of sight. He even watched, painfully, as Cuddy and Lucas walked out of the hospital one night. That wasn’t only 5 days after he found out that…they happened. Now that he thought about it, he hadn’t really seen Lucas latley. Cuddy seemed happy after telling House but her happiness seemed to have dimmed. Wilson approached House about the situation and at first House pushed him away but soon realized not talking is part of what got him in Mayfield. He talked to Wilson about it and Wilson listened like a good friend does. But what Wilson did do that wasn’t so friend like was go behind House’s back and tell Cuddy how House felt about her new relationship. She was saddened about this but knew branching out to other people was good for her. She needed to branch out…but did she want to? She did respect Lucas but found it hard to reply with an ‘I 愛 あなた too’ when he told her he loved her. She should 愛 Lucas…or so she thought. Actually she forced herself to 愛 him until that tonight.

He confronted her after she returned ホーム late due to a conference. A little thing turned into a big fight and soon enough Lucas raised his hand and struck Cuddy on the face. Confused and hurt she ran out from her ホーム and to the hospital where she locked herself in her office. At around the same time House was leaving the hospital. As he headed down the stairs (he liked to excersize his leg) he noticed Cuddy’s light on. ‘What is she doing here at 2am?’ he asked himself. He dared to go in but knew that if she was here at 2am it must be important. He hesitantly turned the handle to find it locked. “Coming.” He heard her say nasaly. As if she had just been crying. When she opened the door he saw first her tear stained face and then the mark on her cheek that was now turning into a bruise. She looked away as if to be embarrassed によって her appearance. “That bastard.” He whispered and pulled her into his embrace. Violent sobs took over her body as she cried into his chest. He led her inside the office and sat with her on the ソファー, ソファ with his arm around her and she leaning on him crying.

“When?” He asked after her cries succombed and she sat up straight. “House, I’m just overreacting. Really. I’m fine.” She 発言しました wiping her tears away. “Cuddy, I admire your strength, infact you’re the strongest person I know, but look at you. He hit you. He made あなた cry. I can’t see why あなた are ok with that but I am not.” He stood and headed for the door. “No! House, please. He…he didn’t mean it.” She pleaded. “Like hell he didn’t” And with that he exited the office with her trailing behind. He was already about 5 feet ahead of Cuddy when they both saw Lucas enter the lobby smiling. “Hey House.” He greeted happily and kept walking. House grabbed Lucas によって the 襟, 首輪 and pushed him up against the wall, staring him down as he tried to loosen his grip. “Hi Lucas” House whispered between gritted teeth. “What the hell is your problem?!” Lucas asked still trying to get away from House. “House! Let him go!” Cuddy screeched from behind. “What’s my problem?! Look at her! See that bruise on her face?!” He screamed into Lucas’ face who just looked away. “You did that あなた fucker! You! She trusted you…adored you…and あなた do this!!! Rot in hell.” And with this he released his grip and punched him sqaure in the nose, breaking it. Lucas fell to the ground holding his nose and Cuddy ran to his side. House stepped closer to them, resting his cane on Lucas’ foot, crushing it. “You’re not good enough for her.” He spoke, his words venom that aimed to kill.

“Like あなた are?!” Lucas called out as House walked away. “No…I’m not.” He 発言しました and exited. Cuddy couldn’t believe what just happened. She was pissed at House for hurting Lucas but she felt an incedible sense of l-adorement towards him for caring. She had some nurses help Lucas into a room and get him a bed. He was now sleeping and Cuddy sat によって his side. She looked at him and frowned. ‘Beep!’ His cell phone on the stand sounded. He had one missed call and one new voicemail. She figured she should check it so she called his voicemail and listened to it. What she heard absolutley shocked her. “Hey babe. I had an AMAZING night…I can deffinatley have あなた over on Saturday. 愛 you.” The woman on the phone said. Cuddy put the phone down and stood. She shook Lucas awake. “Hey babe.” He 発言しました sleepy. “Get up and get out of my hospital and my life.” She 発言しました pointing to the door with tears in her eyes. “What? What are あなた talking sbout?” He asked standing. “Here. Take your damn phone…oh and あなた have a message あなた fucking player.” She stormed out of the room leaving Lucas gathering his things and leaving…he felt bad but…he was young. Cuddy being 8 years older than him, she was a little もっと見る mature…he just wanted to have fun.

As she walked her rage lessened and the reality of yet another failed relationship started setting in. Tears ran down her face fiercley. She didn’t even think to where she was going and before she knew it she was standing outside Ho-Foreman’s office. House stood looking out the window. “…he cheated on me.” She 発言しました coming up 次 to him and looking out the window as well. He quickly turned his head and looked at her, ready to kill Lucas. “I told him to get out of my hospital and my life…I just can’t stop thinking how I fucked up another-” She stopped and tried to pull it together but cries took her over. He gently brought her into a hug, comforting her as she cried into his chest. “This is so screwed up. What did I do to deserve this?” She cried into him more. “Absolutley nothing. あなた don’t deserve this…you don’t deserve him.” He rubbed her back. This felt so not him but in eachother’s arms it felt right. “Then who do I deserve?” Her voice was muffled によって his chest. “Someone better then him…” She pulled away and looked him in the eyes. “Someone like you…”

“I 発言しました someone better…I’m not better than him.” He avoided her stare. “It wasn’t a question. It was a statement and あなた are way better than that scumbag.” Her words shocked him. Their bodies were so close. So much tension. “You want…me?” She managed. He thought about this for a moment. The stare could kill. Blue on blue. In one quick motion he stood, wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her against him and her lips closer to his. They paused. Their lips so close, her eyes closed. “I’ve always wanted you.” He whispered, his words dancing on her lips. She opened her mouth to speak but her words were crushed によって his lips. They kissed ever so passionatley…like there was no tomorrow. When they pulled away her feet were still off the ground and they were close to eachother. “I kow あなた want me.” House started to sing. “You know I want ya.” He continued, earning an eye roll from her. She raised her hand like she was going to slap him on the face but instead cupped his face and smiled. She sighed and paused. “I think I’m in love.” She spoke, a smile playing on her lips.

“Strang…me too…” She loved this new side to him. “It’s amazing how a couple bad nights, a hallucination, and 3 months in an insane assylum could change even you.” She half joked. “…I’m glad I changed.” He stared into her eyes…so intense. “I’m feeling funny again, mommy.” His baby voice amused her. “Shut up.” Her giggles were silenced によって another kiss.
