Are あなた serious? He has only taken the brain when he was in a rush and at risk of being caught. His power is to understand how things work. the easiest thing to say is that he opens their head to examine the brain of which his orignal power allows him to understand when the power comes from. he learns what he can from the brain before 'absorbing' the power.
