On being up on stage...
"It's so much もっと見る powerful than the trivial nonsense that people chalk our band up to be. It's the grace of knowing that we can totally suck and be a little messed up and then stand in a room with thousands of people who are exactly the same way."
On the lack of women in rock bands...
"There are so few women, because it's scary and hard. あなた can be a solo chick and have it fine because people will always cater to you, but when you're in a band and you're a girl あなた are no different. But I would rather it be that way."
On doing the right thing...
"You should never give in to peer pressure. Whether you're a Christian, a Buddhist, a Jew または whatever, あなた should always do what あなた feel is right for yourself. Don't do something, just because other people say あなた should do it."
On her relationship with Josh Farro post-break up...
"Josh and I are better フレンズ than we would have been just dating each other. And in 書く songs, we just have a connection that あなた don't find with anyone else."
On living life...
"Remember to enjoy everything. The things that feel good, the things that hurt, rejection, acceptance. It's all going to make あなた better, stronger and もっと見る like yourself."
On being a reluctant role model...
"I'm all for our band having a positive influence on people, but I am so far from perfect and I just want to make 音楽 and hang out."
