All the girls in my sixth grade class were reading, so I decided I would too. I liked it until I read Harry Potter in seventh, and looked up articles on why people wouldn't like Twi. After reading them, I realized that the books were ... bad.

I was nearly 12 when I started. Finished the whole series before my twelfth birthday.

I read it before it was popular really and definitely before the first film came out. I was around 14.

Thats when my friend told me I should try it.

Twishit ruined my tween years. *cries*

I started it in May when I was 13 when I was on the way to Disney World. It started off really boring to I ended up listening to Maroon 5 the rest of the way there. The next month, I picked up the book again, finished it, bought the next one, finished it before camp, ordered the 3rd one online, read it a few weeks later (my mom wouldn't let me open it until I got to camp), read BD when I got back to school (took me that long to get my hands on a copy of it, I was past willing to buy one)

I read the first two the summer of 2009(I was eleven), then I read Eclipse in September of 2009 (still eleven), then I got Breaking Dawn for Christmas of 2009 (eleven until the next day) and finished it in January of 2010, shortly after I turned 12. I was a fan from 7/09 to 10/10.

I first read it because my mom got it as a Christmas present for me in 2009, since she knew it was so popular (I was fourteen). I finished the series by the end of the next summer (I didn't read it all the time, so I went kind of slow with it).

I watched the first movie and decided to read the books to see what all the hype was about.

12-13, really.

I remember it well. I had a vampire obsession, and I couldn't find any other books about vampires, and my friend had the only one (Twilight). So I begged her and annoyed her until she was fed up and gave it to me before finishing it. ...Looking back, I feel more like I risked my sanity to save hers.

I liked it then, and I finished the series. But after Breaking Dawn, I was done.

I was definitely 13 (in 2009 before I had turned 14) and went off them in 2010 before Eclipse the movie came out. So I was 14 then, (before I turned 15). Hmm, I liked Twilight for a year, and have liked Harry Potter for eleven years, wow. What a difference.
