ハリーポッターvsトワイライト 質問

What would あなた think if someone else wrote sequels to Harry Potter または Twilight?

I've noticed in iconic 本 like Pride and Prejudice, ファン of the book sometimes write whole 本 with the same characters. It's like fan-fiction, but actually published.

HP fans: WOuld あなた read a book によって someone else about Harry's kids, または about Harry and the gang's life after Hogwarts?

Twilight fans: Would あなた read a book not によって Stephenie Meyer about Bella and Edward, または Renesmee?

I would defenatly read them if J.K Rowling authorized them, but I would never enjoy them as much knowing that that was not the official event, that might not have been what really happened. Plus Jo's writnig is too unique to be copied.

No, not even if JKR herself wrote it. I 愛 HP very much, but to explain why I say this, let me borrow the words f Bill Watterson:
"When あなた overcommercialize something, eventually, the public gets slightly bored with the series, and, eventually, forgets it altogether."
I couldn't have 発言しました it better. HP is a great book, but if we keep making coffee mugs, "wands," and book sequels some people are going to get bored with it.
Twilight haters, recall when あなた discovered SM was 書く the Twilight 本 from Edward's POV. One HP ファン said: "Why rewrite it? It's terrible already." So, if the sequels were to come out, a HP hater might respond: "Why write more? It's terrible enough already."
Note: Not all ファン will act like this, but a few will.
So, altogether, I don't think any もっと見る sequels should be written, for either book, especially if it is によって the same author.
Thank you, that will be all.

*clicks best answer- button* あなた are right. If there was a new HP book coming out every 年 it would become meaningless, just like every other mass-product.

Cheap way to get money and fame. So no way. I would even have disrespect for someone trying to rip off Stephanie Meyer. If あなた create a piece of work its yours. That is mostly why I despise remakes. I go to some, but they 99.9% of the time fail. Same with 本 it wouldnt feel the same.

No, I wouldn't. No one can own the Harry Potter world like JKR did... so, no.

If an HP ファン did it right, then HP fanfiction could actually be pulled off. Honestly, I think anyone could write better than Meyer, just saying...Don't mean to be offensive...

It depends. The Wizard of Oz series has over forty 本 and was written によって twenty-seven different authors. Those 本 are amazing and they're, in no way, commercialized. Well, I guess あなた could make a case for Wicked, but that's beside the point.

If the 本 were about Harry または the trio, または the new generation, no. Harry has come full サークル, 円 and I don't think あなた can develop his character anymore. The same goes for the Trio. Besides, any plot that is tried is just going to seem like a watered down version of Harry Potter. Even if JK wrote 本 about Harry and the trio または their kids, I don't think I'd read them.

But if it was a story about the Marauder era, または the founders then it might be really, really cool. A lot of JKs ファン came away with different interpretations of her characters than she intended (*cough*Dracoand Severus*cough). Seeing those crucial characters from a ファン would be interesting.

または even do a story about Dumbledore and his life (and what he was doing during those seven books).
