Margot Robbie Will Reportedly Play Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad

Jared Leto might be playing the Joker in David Ayer‘s Suicide Squad, comes a report claiming Australian actress Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn in the film.

Collider is breaking the news, citing unnamed sources.

Robbie\'s name was always in the mix, alongside Will Smith\'s, Tom Hardy\'s, and Jesse Eisenberg\'s, who is expected to reprise his role as Lex Luthor from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. English actress-model-singer Cara Delevingne was also reportedly considered for the Harley role.

For those unfamiliar with Robbie, she rose to attention as Naomi Lapaglia in Scorcese\'s Wolf of Wall Street. She is currently filming 2016\'s Tarzan, where she will star as Jane, and also has upcoming roles in the Will Smith-starring Focus and the 2015 sci-fi Z for Zachariah.

Writer-director David Ayer has described Suicide Squad as "The Dirty Dozen with supervillains."
