Grassstar is the founder of Grassclan and the first leader. She was “a tortoiseshell she-cat with a white belly and white paws and green eyes.” She was the daughter of Hillclan members Grasspatch who was killed in battle before she was born, and Fernleaf who died when she was an apprentice. She was born with one sister, named Daisykit. Grasskit was named in honour of her father. When she became an apprentice, she achieved her mother’s best friend Dewfeather for a mentor. Grasspaw, although not very good at hunting, proved an 驚異 fighter and became a warrior named Grassfoot whilst her sister became Daisyfall. She was sent into depression when Dewfeather died short after Fernleaf. Daisyfall helped her though it as Grassfoot refused to talk to anyone else. She had only been a warrior for two moons when Hillclan’s leader Jaystar named Grassfoot deputy right after giving her an apprentice: Patchpaw. A moon in, and a big battle with Dawnclan broke out, and Grassfoot was severely injured. She slipped away, crippled, and walked for hundreds of miles before she found a new territory. She had only started her recovery when a nameless clan of ten ネコ found her. They threatened to kill her, but when she sounded eager of the idea to be put out of her misery, they decided to make her suffer and made her their prisoner. The clan’s medicine cat, Treebark, saw a prophecy from StarClan telling them not to kill Grassfoot. He announced this, and the ネコ showed mixed emotions. They decided to invite the recovering Grassfoot to 登録する their clan. One cat, Meadowfeather, announced that Grassfoot should earn nine lives and become the clan’s leader as it was obvious that was what StarClan intended. When Treebark agreed with her, they accepted Grassfoot as their leader and she earned her leader lives and name: Grassstar. Her lives were 与えられた to her によって Dewfeather, Grasspatch, Fernleaf, five other members of Hillclan that she had known who had died, and Daisyfall, who must have died in Grassstar’s absence, upsetting her. When she returned to the clan with Treebark, they announced that the clan’s new name would be Grassclan, in honour of Grassstar. She’s shocked to discover that, in her absence, the camp was attacked and Meadowfeather was killed. She’s disappointed as she was planning to choose Meadowfeather as deputy. Instead, she chooses the dead cat’s brother Darkstripe, and another cat called Rainthistle for third in command. The clan grows considerably, and she soon becomes the mate of Darkstripe. Grassstar loses her first life when she’s hit によって a monster when she’s helping her patrol クロス a Thunderpath. Grassstar and Darkstripe have three kits called Crowkit, Leafkit, and Brackenkit. She loses her 秒 life when she gives birth to these kits. She loses her third and forth both to a badger, but managed to kill him before he claimed another. She loses her fifth life when she’s saving an apprentice named Timberpaw from a 火災, 火 and a 木, ツリー falls on her. She loses her sixth life when she’s on the way to speak to StarClan and another clan’s patrol (not knowing why they’re there) attack them. Sadly, this is when Treebark dies. Her kits become apprentices: Crowpaw, Leafpaw, and Brackenpaw. She gives Brackenpaw to a senior warrior named Bluefire to mentor, Leafpaw to Darkstripe and, seeing potential in Crowpaw, takes her as her own apprentice. She loses her seventh life when an adder lashes out at her. She makes Crowpaw, Leafpaw, and Brackenpaw warriors: Brackenfoot, Leaftalon, and Crowfeather. She takes apprentice Firepaw as her apprentice, but she only has ambition. Her eighth life leaves her when she’s brutally attacked によって Firepaw in a training session. After she recovers, she decides it was an accident and makes Firepaw a warrior: Fireheart. But she soon tries again, but this time Grassstar’s ready and fights her off. Later, she banishes Fireheart from the clan. On a hunting patrol, Grassstar comes across an angry badger. Saving her own clan, she kills it… But it has a friend. She bravely fights it and injures it terribly before killing it. But she’s ロスト a lot of blood, and loses consciousness, never regaining it. She has ロスト her last life and joins StarClan, taking place 次 to Meadowfeather, Dewfeather, Grasspatch, Fernleaf, and Daisyfall.
