I really like them, obviously they have flaws, they are not a perfect couple but that's what I like about them, and makes me want to see them develop as a couple, and learn how to be with each other.
I've heard them being compared to Rory and Dean from Gilmore Girls in a sense of how bad they are as a couple, but I actually liked Rory and Dean. I'll even go as far as to say I like this couple as much as I like JAM from The Office (Jim and Pam).
I hate Rachel fawning/obsessing over a guy who doesn't even treat her well. They make no sense to me all they ever do is make each other unhappy and screw each other over. Please stop trying to make me get on board RM, I've hated them since the pilot.
And can I just say that Finchel is SO not underrated like people want to believe? It's just that their haters are more frustrated and vocal. Clearly the polls always show they have plenty of fans. So people need to stop saying Finchel don't get enough love, because obviously they do.
But I understand it's hard to ship them if the writers don't give them proper storylines!

And it's not the writers' responsibility to make this ship go perfectly, it's their job make the show dramatic, funny and lovable. The writers effed over St. Berry as well, the continuity didn't even make sense! But that's the way they wanted the show to go, and that's how it's gone. People who don't ship Finchel don't ship them for many reasons, not just because they're "not getting good storylines." They treat each other like dirt and Rachel gets crazy obsessed. I don't think it makes sense for Finn to like her and he's consistently treated her poorly since s1, so her obsession just makes her unlikeable. I cannot pity either of them, they dug their own grave.
This is the exact reason! She needs to be with someone ho allows her to be herself and understands her, not someone who jerks her around!
