Anyone else unhappy with the way the relationships are moving?

I liked the pilot episode. The future relationships were made very subtle. But then the 秒 episode came and BAM! Emma likes Will and Rachel likes that guy (forgot name). Maybe it's just me but I prefer relationships where they're フレンズ first, and the relationship slowly progresses so you're on the edge of your seat, thinking "maybe it'll be this one!", "oh the 次 one for sure!". And when they do get together you're squealing and bouncing with delight :D. Relationships that start at the way beginning are just boring. Rachel and that guy have already kissed so now all the fun has been taken out :(. There's still Will and Emma though. I like them better anyway.

Wondering if anyone felt the same way....
