I'm still rusty at trying to make these kinds of 記事 again, so don't mind how horrible this might sound. Anyways, I finally have some inspiration for 書く these again, so I have a few in draft mode. Hopefully this won't seem boring... let's begin anyways.

Social media is very common for idols to have now, especially since the majority of K-POP ファン got known to K-POP through the Internet. It allows the common ファン to communicate and interact with their お気に入り idols, and also is a way to see a bit of their daily lives.

But, with the benefits of social media known to everyone, there's also major disadvantages of owning and operating a social media account.

Take Instagram for example. Taeyeon is well known for being the first member to open her Instagram page, and is also known to others for being a "sly fox" when it comes to updating on Instagram nowadays. Let me explain.

First, came the dating "scandal" with Baekhyun. Both of them were accused of sending secret messages on SNS that weren't exactly addressed to their fans, but rather to themselves. ファン were disappointed, mostly with Taeyeon, since her Instagram bio says, "Personally for TY's fans," yet she posts these messages that was directed to a certain person rather than them.
 IG Caption: Family pictures, #Support, #Strength, #Friend, #Emoticon, #Kakaotalk, #sone

Next, the post that foreshdowed Jessica's departure from the group. She 投稿されました this picture with the caption above, and 安全, 安全です to say, this was very obvious. ファン had lashed out at Taeyeon left and right, and thus starts もっと見る chaos.

Translation: あなた two (Yuri and Tiffany) long legs are pretty without having to stretch out your legs (She's implying that they're using photoshop) ㅎㅎ I miss あなた kids

And with the latest thing that has happened on with Taeyeon and Yuri on Instagram, there just seems to be too many things that could go wrong with using social media.

Surely, in this situation, the idol in 質問 is at fault. Everything that they do is going to be made public and that means that there are もっと見る "journalists" that'll exploit it as a "hard-hitting" scoop, so idols really do need to watch what they say, otherwise it could be misinterpreted into something huge, like when Taeyeon unfollowed Baekhyun on Instagram. Since when does that mark the sign of a breakup? Baekhyun never アップデート on Instagram anymore, and while I still like him, I would even unfollow him myself.
Really? This is the number 1 comment?
Really? This is the number 1 comment?

But, in other cases, the ファン are just to blame here. We whine about the content that they post, and with 最近 controversies, they do hurtful and hateful things on the 発言しました idol's account, from posting コメント that curse them out to starting a whole new hate page because of it (and trust me, there are plenty of hate pages out there.)

To be fair, if we didn't have anything good to say about the situation that we barely know the whole story of, then keep your mouths shut. We're taught in school that bullying is a very big topic that should be stopped, but we've become the bullies that people want to stop.

There are always people complaining now that Taeyeon's Instagram is full of her and the remaining members of TaeTiSeo, and that her friendships with the other members are basically nonexistent, especially Jessica's ファン that still feel sad about her departure. These ファン always have to vent out their frustrations, asking Taeyeon and the rest of SNSD if they don't even feel sorry for what happened.

Let me tell あなた something. Social media is used to highlight all the good things that happen in their lives. If an idol kept posting stuff about how sad their life is, wouldn't あなた think that they were seeking attention または they were insincere?

Jessica ファン of course, believe Jessica's side of the story: that she was 与えられた the boot out of the train that had her ticket to stardom. They complain about the happiness that's shown through their posts, but if they were to keep posting stuff saying, "I miss Jessica T^T Please come back~" the same ファン would think that they're seeking attention. Besides, the majority of the fandom already accepted the fact that she's never coming back to the group, and that Jessica's going her own path. Why can't あなた just respect both sides and follow Jessica wherever she may go?

The ファン that complain should just be grateful that their idols take the time out of their own 日 to even update for them. I remember seeing ファン ask the other members for Yoona to make her own account, but honestly, I think she's better without one. She already gets so much hate, and 与えられた how the other members have to deal with the constant hate comments, it's for the better.

Of course, people could just argue that it's all a part of being famous and taking the job, but this is online. This could just be avoided very easily. Once あなた post something on the Internet, there's no way for あなた to take back those words, especially if it's directed to that idol. Idols can see what comment. They're not blind. Even if they want to respond cooly to you, they can't, knowing that it will spur up some controversy.

So, question: Do あなた think it's a good または bad thing for idols to have social media?

Thanks for reading, コメント your 回答 to the 質問 below, and I'll see あなた at the 次 article! Bye!
