Chapter 1:

Jessica(narrating): It's been a few years since SNSD and f(x) had to go their separate ways, and South Korea hasn't been profiting very much since then. All that is left is our wealthy Capitol, and the districts that have now been set to fend for themselves.
Mom: Here's your blue dress. Just wait a bit since I need to braid your hair.
Jessica(narrating): It's just been my mother, Krystal, and I. After our father died in a mining accident, our mother became depressed, but started to become better after I helped save the family that she was too busy moping to take care of.
Mom: Is Donghae going?
Jessica: No. (narrating) Donghae is a childhood friend of mine. We both ロスト our fathers in that mining accident. Ever since then, we became great friends.
*few 分 later*
Krystal: Come on, Jessica! We have to go! *pulls Jessica*
Jessica(narrating): Today is the dreaded day. The 日 that they pick tributes for the annual Hunger Games. Each year, we have to go through this selection as punishment for a past rebellion, which cause the 13th district to be destroyed. Krystal seems to always enjoy watching it, but she doesn't know how much they have to suffer.

They finally reach the Capitol, where they see Tiffany pulling out names for the Hunger Games. Jessica waves to her, but Tiffany ignores it.

Jessica: Hmm. I wonder what's wrong.
Tiffany: Okay, now we 移動する on to District 12. The first tribute to participate in the Hunger Games is...
Jessica(narrating): She pulled out a name, and in that slip of paper, said...
Tiffany: Krystal Jung.

Chapter 2:

Jessica(narrating): Two men took Krystal away to the stage. I can still remember hearing her screams. Then finally, I said...
Jessica: No! I'll do it! I volunteer as tribute!
*Everyone gasps as Jessica walks to the stage.*
Tiffany: Okay then. Krystal is spared.
*Krystal runs off, rushing to her mother, who is also shocked.*
Tiffany: 次 tribute is...
Jessica(narrating): I saw that she had trouble saying the name and I tried to help her, but she would keep refusing me.
Tiffany: I'm just going to call him Kris, since that is his first name.
*Kris walks up to the stage.*
Jessica(thinking): Kris? From EXO? I thought EXO still existed. Then again, I haven't heard anything about anyone for a while.
Kris: Hi, Jessica.
Jessica: Hi. What are あなた doing here? I thought EXO still existed?
Kris: We're on hiatus since some members went off to the army.
Jessica(narrating): Well, at least I know somebody, even if he was a former labelmate.
Tiffany: Ladies and gentlemen, the District 12 tributes!
