Why?
She is good at what she does(singing and dancing) unlike the other. Like Taeyeon,Tiffany and Jessica, They're great in 歌う but not good/great in dancing. Sooyoung,Hyoyeon,Yoona and Yuri are great in 歌う but not good/great
Seohyun beats Sunny in both 歌う and dancing. Plus Seohyun can play many instruments,speaks many language and great in variety show
Seohyun is the 3rd best singer and 5th best dancer.

Taeyeon, Jessica, and Tiffany are very good at 歌う but not dancing. Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Yoona are very good at dancing but not singing. A lot of people think Sooyoung and Sunny are pretty good at both. But Seohyun is the only member of SNSD who is a really good singer and dancer. Not only that but she's skilled at learning languages and she's a good pianist.

In the Language department its Seohyun not because she is fluent but because she is もっと見る familiar and can speak many languages in basic form, which sounds better than being fluent in only two. Also I think people are overusing the word "fluent". Fluent is もっと見る than just speech, its also reading, spelling, and writing. So far the only members who are fluent in languages is Jessica, Tiffany, and Sooyoung.

She is not really great または best at what she does but she is okay and good at what she does and have many skills.

If I were to be honest my problem with saying she is "more" talented most of the time is もっと見る because she really doesn't excel at anything so its hard to give her credit where its due but its seems even with all that she seems better at things than other members. She has a nice voice but her 歌う can go stiff easily which is why I think she was moved to the dance side. in SNSD. She is a great dancer but her dancing is stiff. Although I respect her as an entertainer its hard for me to find things about her I actually like.
BUT I think Sooyoung is very talented and I voted for her because she sounded really good in their Japanese 秒 album.

Why?
Like Sooyoung too. She is not the best at what she does but she is good at what she does and 2ndd best dancer in Girls Generation

Sunny is nowhere near as good in 歌う as Taeyeon, and again their dancing skill is about the same. Tiffany is only good at singing, nothing else. Hyoyeon is an amazing dancer with a bad voice.
