well i perfer guys in rubber SUITS/スーツ lik godzilla but ill accept anygiant monster movie accept i kinda feel bad for those lizards in the ロスト world and journey to the center of the earth i mean they glued horns on them and made them kill each other cg i dont really lik buts it better then stop motion animation
Cg monsters (or anything impossible to film live) may look better, but as Mario said; without FX pioneers early on, we wouldn't have the technicaly developed genre we enjoy today. Those old movie monsters are ok, but the real fun in those 映画 is that god-awful dialogue that really has NO excuse. "... say, I think I 愛 you.." WTF?
First of all remember that Willis O'brian and 線, レイ Harryhow ssan were before CGI または even Suitmation and did an incredible job with the technology they had at hand. They added to their 映画 rather than dominating them as too many of today's productions do simply to hide a weak story and an even worse script. Looking at pioneering films with modern filters is simply silly and it gives the viewer a false sense of superiority.
