akito's a girl but her mother 発言しました that the heir should be a man so she was raised as a man. i nearly thought akito was gay...

Yea Akito is a girl. He is raised as a male because his family felt their "god" needed to be a man. But also, her and shigure get married. Shigure loves Akito, Akito loves Shigure. It was Tahru who first 発言しました "Akito-san is a female." in one of the マンガ books. But あなた know, Akito is better a boy. It's hard to think that Shigure is in 愛 because he's well...a perv and i cant see him marring Akito, who has so much power because shigure is...shigure. あなた know what im saying though

Well I have seen/read both in the マンガ she was raised to be like a man so yes akito is a girl!But in the アニメ akito is shown to be a man によって having a man chest/broad shoulders.

Akito is a girl because in the original マンガ it is revealed that Akito only dresses like a guy because of his hatred of his mother (a female) and 愛 for his father. Also the "family" felt "the god" should be a boy.

i've read the hole マンガ except the last book ( i don't want the series to end!) and in the マンガ is is a girl but she dresses as a boy and she was brought up as a boy.

In the anime, it only covers 本 1-8, so we never get up to the part of the マンガ where it is revealed Akito is female, so in the アニメ Akito is male. But in the manga, it is revealed Akito is female, but her motehr Ren raised her as a male because she thought Akito would take her place in Akira's (Ren's husband, Akito's father) heart, and also she didn't believe it was right for such a powerful place in the family to be held によって a girl または something. How anti-feminist.
In the end, Akito begins living as a woman when Shigure buys her a womens kimono. It turns out that was Shigure's plan the whole time because he loved Akito, but she was in a sexual relationship with Kureno, another Zodiac member (the Rooster). Then there's complicated side information about Shigure having a brief sexual relationship with Ren in retaliation of Akito's relationship with Kureno, but we need not go into that, do we?

So, yeah, Akito's a girl.

I read it in the manga,i'm pretty sure Akito-san is biologically a female,but she was raised as a guy-so I'm pretty sure Akito-san is a female.
