Okay, so Hulu has become a real problem recently, with misplaced videos. I know there is already an article. But I wanted to express my own views. Here are リンク to misplaced videos. Get the Hulu user off of Fanpop!

Okay, so there are ten リンク of misplaced videos. But thats nothing. Hulu has uploaded hundreds of videos, and many of them are misplaced. If あなた find a link to a misplaced video, put it in the comments. Maybe, just maybe, we can get rid of Hulu.

vider69 Yeah, hulu's posted videos on spots I've created, what's the big deal? I can't watch them because I'm in Australia but I'm sure other people are enjoying them and they ad something to the spot, can't people stop whinging for a change and just enjoy fanpop?

raknaff Yeah! I agree with aholic. Besides they have great videos for spots so they can't be that bad! But thats just my opinon! :S

Jonapello23 Okay, so say there's a misplaced Hulu video right? You can try reporting it, but it doesnt get deleted. I'm not against the Hulu videos in general, just against the user, who isn't even a real person, but a webcrawler. If a regular Fanpopper added Hulu videos, it'd be fine.

PkmnTrainerJ Okay, it's bad. But if the videos are reported eventually the staff will sort them. If they seem not to, report it again and add a note on explaining about it. There are only four members of staff to sort it, so don't get too frustrated if it takes some time.

Jonapello23 They shouldn't have allowed the user to be a member if there are only four people to moderate the videos. It is inappropriate of them.

jlhfan624 I love Hulu!! They post full episodes of shows that I miss and their videos are great quality. Keep them around, they are only helping Fanpop!

rockandroll89 Hulu is okay it sucks if you live overseas like me but there are ways around that . Anyways i think we should just add the Hulu videos to spots instead of the Hulu user. Then they won't get misplaced as so many of them are.

hooch-is-crazy Hulu videos are good for people who live in the USA, but they shouldn't be added by a web crawler that can't add them to thge right spots, I've reported all these videos.

ebathory I totally agree with you jonapello, but I don't live in the US so maybe I'm biased. But the reason I love fanpop is because it is made up of groups of people getting together to share the things they love, and Hulu is a company that has no interest in the greater fanpopping experience. To me, it just doesn't seem to fit in here, I agree that if fanpoppers had added their videos and taken the time to make sure they were properly categorised, I would be all for it.

germany123 if course i agree etc etc but let me state not ALL users have better keywording than hulu..and not all users add stuff for the fanpooping experience- but for their medal count.

ebathory Yeah, I agree with you germany123, I see it all the time - people linking mass amounts of videos from YouTube to a spot within 20 minutes or so - obviously they have not watched the content but they link it anyway. It annoys me but it's their choice to do so, and there is nothing I can do to stop it except rate their linked content accurately - if they haven't spent the time to preview stuff they're adding I'm not going to feel bad for giving them 1 or 2 stars if it's rubbish.... But I still prefer to see that than Hulu videos.

Jonapello23 Yeah, sorry about that, but a lot of the misplaced videos have been removed, which is a plus.

DoctorSpud I partly agree with aholic about them trying to make Fanpop a better place, but they could at least find a way to stop miscategorizing tons of videos. But still, they submitted a lot of good videos to my inFamous spot, so I'm pleased with that.

The Levels of Fanpopage

As I see it there are 3 levels of Fanpopage. In this soapbox I have defined these levels for my entertainment and hopefully yours too.
1. The Sometimes User- These are the users who get on 1-3 times a week mainly just to check messages and a few of their お気に入り spots. They don't spend enough time to add a whole lot of content (if any). The もっと見る avid users would say, "They just haven't be bitten によって the ファンポップ bug yet."
2. The Devoted User- Those users who spend a few hours on ファンポップ everyday and add a fair amount of content. And while they are invested in Fanpop, they do have a life other than...

こんにちは guys i couldn't really find a link または anything about the ファンポップ chat, so this is basically my guide about the functions, a bit about etiquette and a few tips thrown in here and there. This part of my user's guide covers the reporting mechanism and how to use it to maintain good content on the site. It was last updated on 25 December 2009.

As あなた continue to use Fanpop, あなた will come across content that is not what it should be in some way. Since ファンポップ is largely only as good as the content it contains, it is important to address these issues for the good of the site and the ファンポップ community.
