A few 分前 I thought of a partial answer to the 最近 outbreak of internet trolls we've had over the last few moths.

Ladies and Gentlepoppers, I introduce to you:

The ATSOF (The Anti Troll Squad Of Fanpop)
This will be a society of fanpoppers who work together to justly rate any content which has (without reason) been rated low.

My plan is to make an ATSOF Spot; if a spot または particular piece of content has been rated low あなた can alert the ATSOF spot about this and some of the "fans" of the spot will head over to the content and rate the content fairly, therefore boosting the rating.

Please tell me what あなた think; I don't want to create a Ghost-Spot-to-be

edennirvana For me it's ironic that this spot has been made today, just a few hours ago I deleted a bunch of pictures I had posted on a spot, most of them had been rated a 1 by at least four or five users. Talk about ironic. ¬ ¬ -

knifewrench Thanks everyone ¦D It may seem that I did a bit of a hit-and-run with the spot, but soon after I created it my internet stopped working, I'll try to add some more stuff to it, unfortunatley my anti-trolling pictures were on the computer in my bedroom, and I am now using the computer in the main room. And Eden, sorry to hear about your images, I would have rated them if I knew.....

edennirvana Hey, no worries. Thanks you! I just laugh at the irony, I certainly was fairly annoyed and sort of defeated..I mean I asked and waited for a response while the pics got more and more low rates, so I decided to put them out of our misery...

Snerkie umm...wouldn't it be better if people just rated when they saw and not forceful ratings? Images and any content for that matter should be posted to please the people with that interest, not to get heaps of ratings on it all.

knifewrench You don't have to like a subject to notice whether it's content is good quality enough.

Snerkie But you understand what the content is about if you like the subject. And who actually posts content just so they can get some stars and medals?? is that the only reason people here post content? Not so someone with that interest can notice it and it'll be of some kind of help or bring happiness to them. Sure it's great to see that you have a medal for posting content and others enjoying it but if you just tell anyone to go rate it it's not serving the original purpose of fanpop.

dave Hey Eden and everyone else, if you see suspicious ratings on your content please don't delete it, just let me know and we can investigate. It's highly unlikely that 4 or 5 ratings of 1-star is actually multiple users, if it's one troll or abusive user who is trying to hurt other people's ratings by creating multiple users, we can ban them or punish them since it's against our terms of service to do so. Just send me the link to the content that is being "attacked". I know Eden rarely posts anything that deserves anything less than 5-stars!
