Removing your own account is a pretty new feature, many people may not be aware of it yet.
If あなた go to Edit Profile and scroll all the way down, you'll find:
If you'd like to remove your account, click here.
Now what does this mean?
If あなた 削除 your account, あなた must know that:
Your contributions will not be deleted.
All your images, links, comments, フォーラ posts, ウォール posts, 返信 remain on fanpop, 次 to your username.
If あなた click on that ユーザー名 however, あなた will be redirected to the ファンポップ main page.
The spots あなた created are not affected. If あなた create a spot, あなた always create it for everyone, it's not like you're the クイーン of this spot.
You are the クイーン of the spot when あなた have a red medal on 発言しました spot (just kiddin ;])
For future spot icon/banner changes on your spot the F4 can be messaged.
What I 発言しました also makes very clear, that
(a) あなた can not make a new account with the name of a deleted account since the name actually remains on fanpop- just the プロフィール of it is gone.
(b)there's probably a chance to get your deleted account back if あなた made a mistake.
I think the powerful F4 could do it for あなた ;)
Just like they unban users from time to time.

I was quite shocked によって the changed look of Fanpop, it looks as if it were Facebook, I have nothing against a few changes, banner designs? okay I would be fine with that, no もっと見る Icons? I would be fine with that too. But changing the whole site is a little much, don't あなた think? Not that theres anything wrong with it, but I do believe that I joined Fanpop, not Facebook. All I'm saying is that I believe this change was much to sudden, rushed if あなた would like. Thats all I'm trying to say, I don't want to be reported for this, so please understand that this is just my opinion. Tell me what あなた think of the new Fanpop.
