How come there is no RED (THUMBS DOWN) button for DISLIKE a picture または a video just like there's already A GREEN (THUMBS UP) button for LIKE?There should be a choice between LIKE and DISLIKE! Agreed?

ファンポップ is intended as a positive place. You're meant to celebrate and share the things you're a ファン of, not 表示する dislike.

However, when there was rating before fanning, it was possible to give a low rating (1 または 2 out of 5). I think the negative use of that feature was one of the reasons it got changed.

I think a dislike button, if it existed, would just be misused. There's a difference between disliking content because it's badly made/lacking credit または keywords/claiming someone else's work as your own, and simply disliking content based on its subject. But I'm sure the majority would dislike content just because they dislike the character または pairing または fandom involved.

And as others have pointed out, this place is FANpop. You're meant to focus on what you're a ファン of, not what you're not a ファン of. In theory just ignoring/not fanning the content あなた don't like ought to differentiate between it and the stuff which is liked, anyway, because the もっと見る positive things out to have もっと見る fans, favourites and コメント (but that doesn't work in practice because so many クラブ are ghost towns または only have one active member).

There is one now, my friend, 3 years later. Well, not one but two buttons, both thumbs up and thumbs down button, only on this modern Fanpop, and none of them is red または green によって color. Looks like あなた got your wish, my friend. Now, everybody can dislike you, または me, simply によって hitting that thumbs down button. Hope you're happy now. :-P

I feel like that would cause so much drama. Also YouTube's dislike feature is useless anyways. あなた can click dislike but it doesn't do anything so idk why they even have it.

ファンポップ in particular it would strike me as odd to have a dislike button because it's FANpop. The whole spirit of the site is to like stuff あなた like not hate on stuff that あなた don't.

Most of the dislikes I’ve gotten on my YouTube 動画 have been on the ones where I had a very unpopular opinion about something. And the people who disliked them seldom gave me a reason why (outside of “You’re an idiot to believe that”). If あなた really dislike または disagree with something explain why. If it’s poorly done tell the person how they can improve. If あなた disagree with their point of view give your reasons. But in my opinion a dislike button doesn’t do a lot of good.

But to answer your question, I think they’ve decided that having just a ‘like’ button is an effective way of rating content without having to deal with the abuse of a ‘dislike’ button. And, as I 発言しました before, people can still express their negative opinions towards content they don’t like.
