How do あなた get props? Because I've done alot of stuff here and I haven't gotten 1 prop...

Give it time- あなた have been a member for three months.
people get lots of リスペクト saying "hey happy i-brushed-my teeth-today-day OMG lol *_*" and they mean nothing. people use リスペクト as message boards "hey hunni how ru!?" and those mean nothing..and i saw あなた got リスペクト spammed after this and well..those arent real リスペクト either.
neither are "thanx for the props/being my fan".
all of those mentioned should be handled によって private messages または on chat.

the real purpose of リスペクト (and によって that i mean the way there were intended when introduced) is that people have a chance to say "well done on those クイズ 質問 あなた posted..it was fun answering them" または "great アイコン あなた 投稿されました i was looking for some of XYZ for ages". they are like a pat on the back from the community of fanpoppers. otherwise they wouldnt be props they would be ランダム "restricted to 500 characters" messages.

あなた can do loads for リスペクト and people still might not give あなた them. The problem is that other people give あなた リスペクト and that is how あなた get them. People come and visit your ホーム site and there is a little bar with Home, Videos, images, links, articles, forum,picks, クイズ and 回答 then props.
someone (appart from yourself) can click on リスペクト and decide to リスペクト either videos, links, 回答 picks and all sorts.
Try it on someone and あなた will see. It is really easy once あなた get the hang.

people give each other リスペクト :)

I only try to give リスペクト when the material is worth it. Like if a video a person made/found is really good または an 記事 is well written. Also, I have mostly gotten リスペクト for my 動画 I made または コメント I have made. If あなた answer things completely in a well though out way people will give あなた リスペクト as well.

Try to contribute good things and people will give あなた them! または be the first to give リスペクト and people will give them back! Anyway I already gave あなた a lot of props:)
