This isn't a review of Steven Moffat's writing, this is just an opinion/conclusion/observation I've come to. あなた can agree または disagree with me on this and I'd 愛 to hear both sides. I believe Steven Moffat is trying to completely 移動する away from Russell T. Davies' Doctor Who series. He changed the look of the TARDIS and the sonic screwdriver. If あなた think about it, only 2 enemies from the 前 seasons were mentioned again in Season 5, the Daleks and the weeping angels. The Daleks are a classic Doctor Who enemy, while the weeping 天使 were something Steven Moffat created himself. He wrote Blink. Also none of the 前 adventures または companions have been mentioned. While in RTD's seasons, The Doctor pined away for Rose, long after she was gone, in Season 5, Rose wasn't even mentioned. Infact the only person who showed up in Season 5 that was from a 前 season, was River Song who showed up in that Silence in the としょうかん, ライブラリ episode in Season 4. But that episode too was written によって Steven Moffat. Point is, Steven Moffat is trying to get away from the "image" created によって Russel T. Davies.
