theJF Hmm, are you one that appreciates "constructive criticism"? If so, I will be happy to indulge into a brief discussion of this picture for you. Paint is also not the easiest program to use, nor is it terribly powerful for more advanced techniques, so just let me know and I can give you some good suggestions. :-)

theJF Alright, well first, have you considered a great program called "GIMP"? It's free, and like Photoshop it has lots of power, tools and options for creating some truly amazing stuff. As for the drawing here, have you considered working in a standard sketchbook? I have one, and it's great for practicing new techniques, ideas, and just general doodling. It could also be a good place to practice drawing Bolt too, so first try to just draw a simple outline of his face. Practice this many times, use references, and get the strokes/technique down before moving to full body drawings. Then, try to do the same thing, but this time without a reference, and try different poses as well. Once that is done, attempt/practice other more difficult poses and scenes, such as the water here, as that can be a rather difficult drawing to master early on. So, first of all, I'd suggest getting some paper and pencil, practice, and feel free to upload some pics of your progress too. Then, once you've gotten the main part down, you can start practicing the more challenging scenes.
