The films were slightly cropped from 1.66:1 to 1.55:1 for IMAX showings. Some theatrical viewings of the three films were presented in ratios ranging from 1.66:1-1.85:1, depending on the theater. Also Beauty and the Beast was released at several film festivals as a work-in-progress. This was a 60% finished version of the film. It was released on Laserdisc and DVD as a branching feature, and in PiP on the Blu-ray. Beauty and the Beast will receive it's 3rd theatrical release in January 2012, just in time for Valentines Day. Lion King also recently received a 3D theatrical re-release this fall leading up to the 3D Blu-ray release. Both titles were re-released in 3D theatrically and on Blu-ray at a 1.78:1 ratio, which were approved によって the original directors and Producer Don Hahn.
