I know most of the people won't agree I won't mind that but Elsa stayed so many years in a room just to protect Anna from her powers he didn't wanted them to die because of her, she wasted so many years of her life staying away from everyone, it wasn't rude of her that that she never tried to talk to Anna because she knew Anna didn't remembered anything and as an elder sister she always wanted to do right and she had so many responsibilities on her.
Just because she never showed her love didn't meant that she's selfish she never wanted credits and she always suggested Anna for a good cause.

Both of them are selfless but Elsa sacrificed her life, her childhood just to protect Anna. Of course Anna wasn't happy at that time wither. Sometimes feel like Anna wanted Elsa back because she wanted to be with her and not because she didn't want her to hide in the Northern mountains, but in the end she "sacrificed" herself for Elsa (was she really sure that Kristoff could save her?) so I guess they are equal.

I doubt how much Elsa hid herself away to protect Anna. I think she did it more because she was scared herself and didn't want to face the people she might hurt. So in a way, she was selfish for hiding because she did it not to protect but so she wouldn't have to face reality. Anna on the other hand goes above and beyond to try and help her sister. She is always reaching out to her no matter how many times she is ignored, and even when her sister has basically killed her she is still willing to sacrifice her life for Elsa.

both are selfless ....if i think about it, for me there is no an amount of more or less selflessness ...you are selfless or you are not

Elsa was very selfish when she ran away out of fear, not caring about her kingdom or her sister and then celebrating it.

I personally don't think Elsa hid herself to protect Anna. I think she did it out of her own fear, but really, I don't think there's a way to tell, no one is really right or wrong about it, it's just one of Frozen's unanswered questions.

I think Anna is the most selfless DP.

She went to save her sister in the freezing cold. And, she choose to stop Hans from killing Elsa, rather than getting her true love's kiss from Kristoff.

I agree with magnolia. Even when Elsa was my #3 I'd still have said Anna. An introvert who doesn't mind solitude can't compare to sacrificing yourself and always trying to support someone who seems to ignore you for no reason.
