I think shes unoriginal because she has no quality about her that makes her different than any of the other princesses.

She's a bit of a Mary-Sue, IMO.

I agree. I was kind of confused because I thought she was going to be more Kick Ass, a 21st century fairy tale princess but she was no different to the classics but with an average pop star's singing voice instead of a Soprano-esk singer.

I think I've said before (though I'm not sure where) that though I agree if you deconstruct her character she doesn't have much you can't attribute to a former Disney heroine, the whole those individual traits combine to make is fresh enough for me. She's not the first Disney heroine who I've felt didn't bring any big, specific new trait to the table, but like others I've felt that way about, when I look at her whole character rather than splitting her off into chunks, I find her unique enough :)

Yea, but it comes together as a new person. Still, she is a little too cutesy-perfect for my taste

The main (and arguably only) thing that is original about her is her hair IMO.

No she’s not OTT or irritating like Snow White. She’s kind of a cross between Belle from BatB meets a younger version of Mandy Moore(who voices her). She also reminded me of Selphie Tilly from FFVIII with the short hair.
